Football is around the corner. Its a beautiful time of the year. Dads/Husbands around the country are beginning the process of abandoning their families every Sunday. Beers will be slammed, curse words will be spewed and fried foods will be clogging arteries although most of you slobs have been practicing these for years. While I am excited for my Jets to fail me again and to dominate in ALL of my fantasy leagues, my true passion in life is gambling. God put me on this earth to gamble, and god dammit I am good at it.
My plan here is to hit you with some of my early favorite bets that I have been checking out on the DraftKings Sportsbook App. With a little less then a month until the season, weekly I will post more and more bets that just make us easy fucking money. Some of the blogs will be for the public while others will strictly be for our Patreons who deserve all the VIP treatment in the world. I’m not going to bore you with “Bet the Bills to win the division” because no shit. I wanted to find bets that have realistic outcomes where we can lay some bucks down and actually take home a solid amount in return.
Winning Division of Super Bowl: AFC West +350
Its no surprise that the AFC West is stacked. This division is fueled with Elite players from all positions on both sides of the football. There is a very good possibility that 3 teams from this division make the playoffs. If this happens, you are in a great spot obviously. Considering 3 teams from the AFC West are in the top 8 for best odds of winning the SB, I think this is a bet I have to make. The Chiefs are the obvious favorite, but the Chargers are the team I am really getting behind.
Michael Pittman to have over 124.5 receiving yards in at least 3 regular season games +225
This is a true degenerate commitment bet. Sean and myself have a nut for Pittman in fantasy this season which will be thoroughly spoken about on our WR Podcast next week. I had several shares of Pittman last season and will so again. He has a more capable QB in Matt Ryan this season and is been talked about as a low end WR1 in Fantasy. I think its safe to say he stays around his 25% target share from last season and possibly better. With Ryan at the Realm instead of Wentz the efficiency should be better leaning to higher statistical outcomes. He never met the mark last season but he now has a QB who is known for throwing high yardage. For fucksake, Ryan threw for just under 4k yards with Calvin Ridley playing just 5 games.
Patrick Mahomes to have over 399.5 passing yards in at least 2 regular season games +140
You must think I’m some kind of stupid if I’m not hammering on this bet. Tyreek is gone so Mahomes is all of a sudden going to abandon the pass. News flash, Mahomes made Hill into the Elite WR he is, not the other way around. Although Mahomes new options are not in the same weight class as Hill, we are still talking about Patrick Mahomes. He eats 400 yard passing games for breakfast. This is disrespectful. Free Money is always the best money.
