Week 3 Waiver Wire Targets

Quarterbacks

Jacoby Brissett (12% ESPN 12% Yahoo)

If you have a QB who sucks, was recently injured or is facing a tough matchup this week. Brissett might be the guy for you. He had a tough game against Tennessee but faces an easier matchup with the Falcons. Should be one of the top streaming QBs if necessary.

Teddy Bridgewater (ESPN 0% Yahoo 0%)

Teddy chose to sign with the Saints as a backup instead of starting for the Dolphins. Well he has lucked out because he will now be the starting QB for one of the NFLs most talented offenses. With Brees missing some time, Bridgewater is worth a stash if you are struggling at the position or are in a 2 QB league. Would not start him this week though.

Other possible options

Josh Allen, Andy Dalton, Jimmy Garoppolo

Running Backs

Raheem Mostert (ESPN 11% Yahoo 16%)

Mostert played a big role in the 49ers win this past Sunday combining for over 150 yards. With Tevin Coleman likely out to at least week 5, Mostert should continue to have a solid snap count. He has a tougher challenger against the Steelers this coming Sunday but should be one of the top rbs off the waiver wire.

Frank Gore (ESPN 17% Yahoo 7%)

What year is it? Gore continues to dominate the workload in Buffalo with way more carries then the next guy. It should only get prettier with Singletary suffering a hamstring injury. This man might not be the flashiest, but he is clearly the featured back and must be owned.

Other options

Carlos Hyde, Chris Thompson , Justin Jackson, Alexander Mattison

Wide Receivers

Demarcus Robinson (ESPN 1% Yahoo 6%) Last week we told you to pickup Mecole Hardman now this week pickup his teammate Robinson. With Hill on the shelf, Robinson went off with 6 catches, 172 yards and a pair of TDs. It just seems if you are a pass catcher for Mahomes you have a chance to go crazy. Add this guy in all formats.

DJ Chark (ESPN 22% Yahoo 11%)

Many people were buying in on Chark last week and I wasn’t one of them. Let me be the first to say my bad. With Foles out, I assumed this would hurt Charks value but Minshew might have found his favorite reciever. The big receiver was targeted 9 times and hauled in 7 grabs with a TD. If your WR depth is slim pick this man up.

Other options

Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin, Mecole Hardman, Nelson Agoholor

Tight Ends

Jason Witten (ESPN 18% Yahoo 15%)

Did not think I would be mentioning Witten as fantasy relevant this year but here we are. 2 games and 2 touchdowns for the future Hall of Famer. Witten has a great shot of keeping that. TD streak alive next week as he faces the punching bag of the league (Dolphins). If you need a steaming tight end look no further.

Other options

Jack Doyle, Tyler Eifert, Will Dissly
