Week 4 Waiver Wire

Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett

Jacoby torched the Falcons defense for 300+ yards and 2 touchdowns. TY Hilton started the game but left with a nagging injury and Brissett still was highly productive. He spread the ball out all game, hitting 9 different receivers. He faces Oakland week 4 who’s secondary is in shambles.

Other options

Matthew Stafford, Gardner Minshew, Daniel Jones

Running Back

Wayne Gallman

Saquon left week 3s game with a Hugh ankle sprain and will receive and MRI today. This could be a huge blow to the G-men who just enjoyed Daniels Jones rookie debut. Gallman will be Barkley’s beneficiary and has done a good job of this in the past when called upon. It’s hard to find a starting RB on the waiver wire so get your claims in ASAP.

Rex Burkhead

The last name creeps me out for some reason but his performances don’t when he’s called upon. I know the Patriots RB game is always hard to manage but Rex has the potential to step in when needed and give you big points. This is more of a stash option or deeper leagues. He’s one injury away from being in your starting lineup close to every week.

Justin Jackson

Here’s an interesting candidate who hasn’t been talked much about. The Chargers backup RB has not shined nearly as much as Ekeler but he’s worthy of a flex play this week against Miami. If you have players on a bye or have been struck with the injury bug, Jackson can be a good shoe-in for Week 4 and possibly beyond.

Other options

Jeff Wilson Jr, Alexander Mattison, Darrel Williams, Frank Gore

Wide Receiver

DJ Chark

Can’t say the name without thinking of Baby Shark. Anyway, Chark is available in over 50% of leagues which makes no damn sense. He’s top 10 in scoring and clearly is Minshews favorite target. Roster him….Do Do, Do Do Do Do

Phillip Dorsett

Just a few days ago the Patriots recievers were looking like the best a roster has ever seen. With Brown probably on the streets smoking crack and Edelman leaving Sundays game with a chest injury, options are starting to become limited. Enter Dorsett. He was targeted 7 times for 6 catches and a touchdown. He seems to look comfortable with Tom Shady and could hold serious value if Edelman misses anytime.

Other Options

Dante Pettis, Cole Beasley, Mecole Hardman, Dionte Johnson, Nelson Agholor

Tight End

Will Dissly

William had a second straight big time performance for the Seahawks. That’s 2 games with 3 touchdowns and needs fantasy consideration if you are hurting at the tight end position.

Other options

Chris Herndon, Vernon Davis
