Week 12 Waiver Wire Targets

Week 12 waiver wire targets

Sam Darnold (ESPN 12% Yahoo 22%)

I feel like a broken record but the Jets schedule is extremely favorable for Darnold! It has been the last few weeks and that has showed with 6 TDs in his last 2 games. Sammy faces the Raiders at home who have struggled against the pass. For those who have dealt with poor QB play or recent injuries this is your guy.

Other Options

Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield

Jonathon Williams (ESPN 0% Yahoo 5%) Nyheime Hines (ESPN 29% Yahoo 17%)

As we all have heard, Marlon Mack will be out for some time with a fractured right hand. Williams will be the most sought out player in the waiver wire. He’s not going to be cheap in FAAB leagues so if you are desperate, put some serious cash on him. I do want to point out that the Colts have a difficult schedule to close out the season in regards to there rushing attack. They face some of the top units. If you cant get your hands on either of these guys and you play in a very deep league, Jordan Wilkins could be a sleeper pick.

Bo Scarbrough (ESPN 0% Yahoo 2%)

As much as I love fantasy football at times I despise it. For example, who in the Hell is Bo Scarbrough? Well for starters he was the lead back for Detroit last week and looked pretty fucking good. The Lions running game has been an utter damn mess. Bo is worth a claim

but don’t be surprised if the cashier from your local supermarket is leading the Lions in carries next week.

Other Options

Alexander Mattison, Gus Edwards

Derrius Guice (ESPN 47% Yahoo 48%)

Not many things have gone right for Washington this year. One positive they can lean in his Guice back and notching a touchdown last week. His stats most certainly don’t catch your eye but if you watched him his cuts looked solid. He is going to be moved along slowly but he should be picked up quickly. AP is not the future in Washington, that belongs to Guice. His workload will steadily increase each week. Put the claim in if you need depth at the position.

Deebo Samuel (ESPN 33% Yahoo 54%)

You might be shit out of luck if you check your wire for Deebo. Our preseason fantasy football rookie sleeper has shed light to the 49ers passing game. He has hit his 2nd straight game with 100+ yards and 10+ targets. Jimmy G and Deebo continue to develop chemistry

James Washington which bodes well if you are down on the position in fantasy. One of your best ROS options avaiable.

Corey Davis (ESPN 37% Yahoo 30%)

Speaking of ROS options, Davis needs to be added as one of the best options for that. His remaining schedule makes me drool at the mouth. If only one of my top receivers could

blessed with it! Davis has showed better outings since Tannehill was named the starter, but not relevant enough. He could really prove his haters wrong in the upcoming games. A.J. Brown is worth an add in deeper leagues.

James Washington (ESPN 20% Yahoo 8%)

Steelers WRs Dionate Johnson and Juju Smith-Schuster are nursing injuries right now and might not be able to play there next matchup. That’s a shame due to the fact they face the miserable winless Bengals. James Washington could be a huge addition as a weekly streamer.

Other Options,

Demaryius Thomas, Hunter Renfrow, Allen Lazard

Ryan Griffin (ESPN 1% Yahoo 3%)

Call me crazy but I think Griffin needs to be one of the top tight ends off the waiver wire. In 3 out of the last 4 weeks he has posted TE1 numbers. Darnold has not been shy looking his way and should continue to target Griffin. With Chris Herndon our for the season, Griffin will continue being the starter and faces an Oakland team who can not guard a tight end.

Other options

Dallas Goedert, Noah Fant, Jacob Hollister
