Week 15 (playoffs) Waiver Wire Targets

Week 15 waiver wire targets

Ryan Tannehill (ESPN 40% Yahoo 48%)

Tannehill continues his recent hot surge with his 4th straight 2 TD performance and posting 23+ Fantasy points in 3 of his last 5 games. We can easily see him eclipsing both of these feats again this Sunday when facing the Texans. The Texans have been one of the worst teams against the pass this season and Tannehill is a great option if you have a Matt Ryan or Dak Prescott type of QB facing a tough defense

Patrick Laird (ESPN 11% Yahoo 20%)

Laird has taken the throne for the Dolphins starting RB slot. Although he’s not the best rusher, he can certainly make his presence felt in the passing game. In 3 of his last 4 games he has been targeted at least 4 times. In those 3 games he has had an extremely high percentage of targets completed, completing all targets but 2. Laird can be a nice option on your bench and should be an option in deeper formats.

Raheem Mostert (ESPN 28% Yahoo 52%)

The 49ers run game has been solid this season, but the issue is who will be the main beneficiary each week. 4 different RBs on the roster have at least led one week in fantasy for the 49ers at the position. In the past few weeks, Mostert has reclaimed the top spot with Coleman being unproductive and Breida dealing with injury. In his past 3 games Mostert is averaging over 7 yards a carry with 4 TDs. It’s safe to say the mans on fire. In my eyes he should be your top RB waiver wire claim if he’s still available.

DeAndre Washington (ESPN 10% Yahoo 7%)

This is a high risk/high reward claim. There’s a lot of Danger that can go into it. With that said, he is very startable IF Jacobs missing another week. Washington filled in successfully, making an impact in the running and passing game. I would 100% place a claim if you are a Jacobs owner or have room on your bench.

AJ Brown (ESPN 31% Yahoo 26%)

We at GCF have been mentioning several Titans players for weeks considering there friendly playoff matchups. Brown(who was mentioned in our Week 13 waiver wire claims) had a monster game, going for 150+ yards and 2 touchdowns. He is averaging 20 yards a catch on the season, placing him at the 2nd best for yards per completion. He is a big-time threat and should be the top receiver off your waiver wire. My mouth is watering thinking amount his next matchup against the Texans.

Zach Pascal (ESPN 31% Yahoo 35%)

Another repeat waiver target is the Colts top WR (as long as Hilton remains out). For sometime we were waiting for solid production from the third years wideout and he has delivered the past 2 games. In the past 2 games he’s been targeted 19 times on 12 catches and just shy of 200 yards. He has at the very least flex appeal this week.

Anthony Miller (ESPN 19% Yahoo 20%)

In the past 4 weeks, Miller has made himself fantasy relevant. He has been targeted 9 times in 3 of his last 4 games and in the one game he wasn’t targeted heavily he snagged a touchdown. Miller’s next 2 matchups are promising as the defenses he faces (GB and KC) rank in the bottom 10 of the league in catch rate allowed to slots receivers.

Noah Fant (ESPN 30% Yahoo 28%)

The Lock to Fant connection is looking legit and promising for the Broncos organization. This past week Fant might of had his most productive performances, eclipsing 100 yards and a TD. With several injuries to tight ends out there, Fant might be your best option on the wire. Safe to say he’s a good option too.
