Gambling Picks for 2020 NFL Draft

Where are my degenerates at? Times are tough in the sports gambling world and have made me result to horse racing on the FanDuel Racing App. I don’t have the slightest clue about horse racing and the only thing I know about a fillie is you use it to smoke your weed. Now I’m pretty sure a fillie in horse racing is not that, but I am 100% sure that my football gambling skills are better then my horse racing vocabulary.

The NFL draft marks a special time for sport fans and this year might be the most special due to the current COVD situation. As most are on the edge of there seat waiting to see which star there team is going to draft (which I am as well), I just might be more excited to gamble on something I know about. I am a feen when it comes to gambling. What better way to blow your stimulus check then to throw it all down on some of these interesting odds.

When is Tua Tagovailoa selected?
As we all know, Tua suffered a devastating hip injury last year that ended his season. For most of the year Dolphins fans were hash tagging #TankforTua because they had nothing better to do. By some miracle the Dolphins ended up winning a few games resulting in have the 5th pick of the draft.

Many scouts and medical experts have clear worries of the Alabama standout due to his injury but Tuas doctors say his injury will not effect his NFL career. Before the injury many believed he could of been the top QB selected but that’s clearly off the board with the Bengals basically punching in there Joe Burrow ticket. Many mock drafts have Tua sliding to the 5th spot but I’m pumping the breaks on that.

Tua is considered a generational talent. He’s a dual-threat QB with a winning pedigree. I can think of several teams that could use him instantly and many of those teams would have to trade up. That’s where this bet comes in for me. The odds for Tua to go 3rd overall are +400. While I think the Lions should look into Tua, I don’t feel they will select him with Stafford still on the books for 3 more years, but anything’s possible.

What I do believe is Matt Patricia is a smart guy and understands the haul he can receive if someone wants to move up in front of the Dolphins to select Tua. The Jets traded the number 6, 37 and 49 overall pick in 2018 as well as there 2018 2nd rounder to the Colts to move up 3 spots for Sam Darnold. Chiefs traded 2 first round picks and a 3rd round pick to move up to the 10th overall to pick some guy named Patrick Mahomes. There are so many more of these trades such as Jared Goff, Mitch Trubisky, Carson Wentz the list goes on. Patricia realizes his team has several holes and he could take in an enormous haul. I like these odds and will lay some money down on it.

First Wide Reciever drafted?
Many so called experts have CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy as the first reciever to be drafted tomorrow. While I do agree with these “experts” you should not write off Henry Ruggs who has +700 odds. In one of the deepest Wide Reciever classes, Ruggs is a standout with his game-changing speed and great run after the catch skill set.

NFL scouts fall in love with the speed Ruggs has been blessed with so it would come as no surprise if Ruggs jumps the above mentioned wideouts. Several teams from picks 11-15 can use a wideout and most likely will draft one. At those odds, what’s the harm in tossing some money into the pot. Not the pot you put in your “fillie”.

Total Wide Receivers drafted in the first round?
The odds are over/under 5.5 and I’m leaning toward under 5.5 (+160). The 3 Receivers mentioned above will certainly be first round picks. Justin Jefferson and Tee Higgins should be the 4th and 5th but they are no locks. After that I am not too certain of any others being selected and the reasoning is simple. The field is so deep. You can find very talented wideouts in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Claypool from Notre Dame very well could land end of the first round but the receivers that will be drafted around him are just as talented and can be had later on. Also fuck Notre Dame. My gut is telling me to bet the under so that’s damn well what I’m going to do. Got money on the mind bitches.

Who will the No.1 Pick Hug First?
This should be a no brainer, hug your damn mother. That woman went through child birth pushing your big ass out. Show some respect by hugging the person who brought you into this world. All the others on the list (dad, girlfriend, friend, sibling) should understand big mama is always #1. I’m taking Mom with +125 odds. #mamasboy
