It’s very early in the preparation for the 2020 NFL season, but never too early for Vegas! We have been tracking the odds for the big three player awards and we are ready to give you some tips to win your bets BIG this year!
MVP: Deshaun Watson (+1400)
Hear me out GCF Fam! I know how this looks. It seems like a two man race this year between Mahomes and Jackson according to all the other blogs but at GCF we aren’t afraid to go against the grain. Watson has the fourth best odds overall to win the MVP trophy and he may be a long shot to most people but in reality Watson has been gearing up to contend for this thing dm the last few years. It feels like he has been in the league for awhile but the truth is he is only 24 years old and is entering his fourth year. Watson has the arm, the legs and the football IQ to go toe to toe with any of the great quarterbacks the NFL has to offer. And in a weak division that he notoriously picks apart, Watson will be looking to put up major numbers this year. Bottom line, at +1400, Watson could make you a load of money if he shocks the NFL world and takes the MVP, and he just might do it too.
Rookie of the Year: CeeDee Lamb (+1500)
CeeDee is going to come into Dallas with a massive chip on his shoulder, and rightfully so. The Oklahoma standout receiver was the third overall receiver taken in this draft when some argued he should of been the number one receiver taken. The definition of a game changing X factor receiver, Lamb will go on a year in Dallas this year. At +1500 we are looking to make major money with this pick boys and girls. Out of all this big money predictions this is the one we feel the best about.
Defensive Player of the Year: Nick Bosa (+1400)
Bosa had a break out year last year taking home the defensive rookie of the year award. Now he will look to take the main prize in 2020 and claim his spot as the DPOY. Bosa will need to add onto his 9 sacks but the San Francisco defense has not changed much and he will still get ample opportunity to take it to the next level. Bosa has the third highest odds behind Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack, surprising some casual gamblers. If you look closely at his game you can see he is ready to be the defensive face of the NFL. +1400 for Bosa could be easy money for us gamblers. Either way Bosa is bound to win this eventually.
