Week 15 Waiver Wire Targets

Jalen Hurts (ESPN 8% Yahoo 17%)

Anything is better then Wentz and hurts certainly showed it in his first career start against the Saints. As a thrower he has some things to work on but what really brings him to fantasy relevance is his rushing abilities. 106 yards on the ground will get everyones attention. Keep him on your radar if you have a QB hurt or facing an elite defense.

Mitchell Trubisky (ESPN 19% Yahoo 11%)

Watson who? Trubisky said theres a new sheriff in town to the tune of 3 TDs on 266 yards. The Bears schedule for fantasy purposes has been probably the best out of all teams. The Vikings match-up week 15 is a potential starting one for Mitch and week 16 DEFINTELY is a starting one against the Jags. Mitch Trubisky trending? 2020 folks, 2020.

Trayveon Williams (ESPN 0% Yahoo 0%)

Giovanni who RARELY fumbles did so early in the Bengals game which helped Williams see alot of the field. He took advantage running for 12 rushes and 49 yards with 3 catches as well. No they were playing the Cowboys and I expect Gio to see more action next week but hes worth monitoring.

Jeff Wilson Jr. (ESPN 8% Yahoo 19%)

Just another 49ers RB on another waiver wire report, NBD. We have seen plenty of run from Wilson in the last few years and he found himself back on the field with Mostert being evaluated for a stint during Sundays game. Week 15 brings the Cowboys and also brings flex value for the back in deeper formats.

Lynn Bowden Jr. (ESPN 1% Yahoo 1%)

Miami lost several pass catchers to injuries Sunday against the Chiefs but Bowden stepped up in a huge way. He caught 7 of 9 passes and news flash, has WR and RB eligibility in most leagues. We need to check the status of all injured Dolphins but he is one of the most intriguing waiver wire targets in PPR leagues.

Nelson Agholor (ESPN 28% Yahoo 36%)

We have been down this road several times (and usually burned) but Agholor is the Raiders top receiving option. 3 of the last 4 weeks he has 9+ targets and against the Colts caught 5 passes for 100 yards and a score. Faces the Chargers Thursday night with flex appeal if you are hurting at the spot.

Keke Coutee (ESPN 31% Yahoo 45%)

This past Sunday wasnt as exciting as the prior but he still caught a TD which is always helpful. He was questionable before the game with a knee injury but still saw the field. As long as he is in the starting lineup and Watson is his QB, he should be owned.

Tim Patrick (ESPN 20% Yahoo 28%)

You are probably sick of me saying it but the most CONSISTENT Broncos wideout this year. Patrick hauled in his 6th TD catch of the season and keeps on being relied on by his young QB. Patrick faces Buffalo this week and could be trusted in deeper formats for the playoffs.

Russell Gage (ESPN 12% Yahoo 11%)

Gages name has popped up a few times the last 2 years and with Julio hurt he brought his name back to fantasy relevance. Matt Ryan better watch out as well with Gage showeing off his passing skills with a TD (HAH). In all seriousness its time to put some value on Gages name. Averaging 8 targets a game in his last 4 games is enough for me to feel good about him. I truly feel the Falcons also do not need to force Julio back because the playoffs are pretty unreasonable this point. Gage is trending in the right direction.

Irv Smith Jr. (ESPN 3% Yahoo 6%)

Smith caught all 4 of his passes and brought in a TD this week. His name has been on the rise the last few weeks and it helps that his QB has looked so much better in that time. This may be a risky add but he faces the Bears who have struggled against the TE position this year.

Dan Arnold (ESPN 1% Yahoo 1%)

Arnold has been eating the last couple of weeks for Kyler and the Cards. That TD pass he caught last week with 3 defenders all around him was so impressive. Arnold is a strong player with good hands. 3 TDs in his last 2 games, now if only we can get him some more targets. Another risky add but he has impressed me.
