Late Round Value Picks

Quarterback

Matt Ryan (ADP 129)

Its fair to worry about Matty Ice in a new offense without his favorite weapon but should we really be pushing him off the Fantasy cliff? Not just reliable but great weapons around will help him finish as a Top 12 QB in several weeks. Last time Ryan was counted out in Fantasy I drafted him 14th round and he won an MVP, just saying…

Deshaun Watson (ADP 161)

What do you really have to lose, besides people in your league calling you a scumbag? Granted if you are reading this you probably are scum but his ADP puts him in the 13th/14th round. His active status is up in the air and maybe you will get lucky (something Watson failed at miserably). Do not draft him as your first QB but rather as your backup option. Worse comes to worse you drop him for another QB which seems deeper every year.

Running Back

Gus Edwards (ADP 128)

I’m always on board of the motherfucking bus. What is there not to like? Best rushing attack, proven volume despite 2 rushers ahead of him in carries each year. His workload is carved out of 10 touches a game. One injury to Dobbins and that number is nearly doubling. Wheels on the bus go round and round ya heard?

Phillip Lindsay (ADP 154)

Before you come to my Twitter page and straight up bully me, what is the harm in grabbing a back who before last season averaged over 1000 yards a season and almost 4.8 yards per carry? Clearly a different situation now but still has proven to be an effective rusher in the league. He is the best RB on the Texans, don’t care how many AARP members are on the squad.

Jamaal Williams (ADP 121)

Slated to be the A-back for the Lions, Williams is granted this role because he is a great rusher between the tackles. He is strong and powerful, and can do many things that Swift can not do. Williams will certainly see the field, but in limited capacity. I truly wish Williams signed elsewhere but that is neither here or there. Would not be surprised down the road if Williams is outcarrying Swift each week.

Tevin Coleman (ADP 189)

I am not a huge Coleman guy but there are some positives. He is a scheme fit and has a role in the offense. Everyone seems to be high on Michael Carter but I think early on the Jets will lean on the vet (until he crumbles from injury). For a guy who is going almost undrafted, he presents great value in deeper leagues

Wide Receiver

Corey Davis (ADP 135)

Currently watching the Wilson to Davis connection with no pants on, that is how good I am feeling about Davis and his ADP. Some of the names going around him are straight up disrespectful. This is a guy who was paid big bucks to be the #1 wideout. Talk all your shit about the incompetent Jets but Davis will have a large target share.

Mecole Hardman (ADP 133)

Thought he would take it up a notch last season but failed to do so. He is currently slated (in my eyes) as the 2nd WR for the best offense in the world with Senior citizen Sammy enjoying his remainder days in Baltimore. Has looked sharp in preseason. Mahomes and him continue to build chemistry which hopefully flourishes for the 3rd year speedster. Its now or never and I choose now!

Russell Gage (ADP 148)

Weeks 11-17 finished inside the top 20 for all wideouts last season. Should step in as the 2nd wide out with Julio gone. Ridley and Pitts clearly ahead of him for targets but why cant Gage replicate last season? Ryan clearly enjoys working with him. Not much risk involved with a draft selection of Muscle Gage.

Marquez Callaway (ADP 179)

Could have him for free but we want to give you some food for thought. Thomas is going to miss some serious time. The Adam Trautman train seems a little off the rails. Tre’Quan Smith is always a bust. Someone needs to catch some passes and Callaway could be the guy. Looked good in his first preseason game and could be a big time sleeper early on.

Henry Ruggs (ADP 121)

First WR in last years draft and you would of never known it considering the game plan. Call me crazy but I think he didnt exceed 5 targets in any game last year. GrUdEn Is A gEnIuS. Well Raiders lost Agholor, added injury prone John Brown, so like many guys on this list someone has to catch the rock. Yea yea yea, Darren Waller is on the squad. After him who do you have faith in? Have to think he has a larger role in Raiders offense this season.

Tight End

Jonnu Smith (ADP 134)

Going all-in on Jonnu. Looking at his career numbers you kind of want to throw up in your mouith considering the constant hype around him but his potential to me has been untapped. He is a big physical freak who has strong hands. He signed a big deal to come play with the Patriots who slacked in the pass catching talent department. Cam thrived with solid tight end help in Carolina and if Mac steps in Jonnu is a terrific big target middle of the field. Perfect “wait on a Tight End” Tight End. Mwahahah

Tyler Higbee (ADP 119)

There is no in between with Mr. Higbee. You either love him or hate him and I love him. So what he fucked over half of you last year. He is deadass like my son, came straight from my nuts. I nourished and sheltered him, which helped him become the behemoth he is today. Matthew Stafford is like his mother who will always be there for him and will care for him so tenderly. Our family is happy and we are proud of him. He is going to provide solid value where he is currently being selected.
