It’s no secret that the Washington defense has been less than ideal this season. What was supposed to be one of the best has turned into one of the easiest to score on. With Tom Brady and the Bucs coming in I believe the Bucs win by double digits. Not only do the Bucs dominate on offense, but their defense is scary good against the run. The Bucs can be beaten by going through the air, and if Washington has any hope they need to get McLaurin involved early and often.
Last week the Cowboys got clowned by the Broncos, and were basically shut out other than garbage time points. While ugly, I don’t think we can expect that a lot from this team. The Cowboys easily have one of the best rosters top to bottom, and I look for them to get right this game. The Atlanta offense has started to smooth out some of the wrinkles, but I don’t believe they can handle a game like this especially if it becomes a shootout. I look for Atlanta to make it a game early, but for Dallas to run away with it in the second half.
The Vikings and Chargers are both known for their electric offenses, but my interest falls to the defensive side. Both have been lackluster this year while being vulnerable to the run. Both Dalvin Cook and Austin Ekeler should have huge games today. Last week the Chargers let Jordan Howard run all over them, and Dalvin Cook is leaps and bounds better than Jordan Howard. I look for the defenses to give up a lot of points, and for the Vikings to potentially pull off the upset.
