Jimmy Garappolo (ESPN 1% Yahoo 4%)

And just like that Jimmy G is the starting QB of the 49ers. Trey Lance season ended Sunday and Jimmy Gs started. I am unsure why everyone felt so high on Trey in large part to him having amazing weapons but not translating those same vibes to Jimmy. This week 3 matchup against Denver is less than ideal but in 2 QB league Jimmy is a must add.

Carson Wentz (ESPN 56% Yahoo 51%)

Wentz is balling out with his new squad and I am here for all of it. Averaging 43.5 pass attempts in his 2 games, Wentz has tremendous weapons around the field with Terry, Samuel, Dotson and Thomas. Does this success last all season? Not a fucking chance but we are going to ride it out the next couple weeks with some favorable matchups.

Mark Ingram (ESPN 17% Yahoo 24%)

Anytime there is a chance you can add a starting RB off the wire you take it. Even if that RB is older for a back and may not produce like a top option, volume is key. Ingram led the backfield for the Saints with my guy AK out, rushing 10 times on 60 yards. Ingram is clearly trusted as the top RB behind AK and if Kamara isn’t ready for week 3, Ingram will most likely be in your lineups again, this week against the Panthers.

Darrel Williams (ESPN 4% Yahoo 3%)

Williams entered the game as the lead back when Conner left with injury. Williams rushed 8 times for 59 yards adding 3 catches. Before the season I felt Eno Benjamin was the handcuff back to own for Conner but this clearly wasn’t the right call. Williams plays in an offense that will get him involved enough to potentially start him next week if Conner is a no-go. The Cards take on the Rams in week 3 who sturggled against the bills rushing offense but kept the Falcons in check.

Raheem Mostert (ESPN 53% Yahoo 44%)

I had a few people including Sean ask me why do I hate Edmonds so much. I felt before the season Mostert is the best rusher compared to both and the Dolphins might feel the same way. The carry count favored Mostert 11-5 and he did so effectively on 51 yards. Mostert even outcaught Edmonds 3-1. Mostert is a guy you should throw on your roster considering how Edmonds has disappointed several times in the past. Add this speedy back while he is only rostered in about half of your leagues. Week 3 will be a tough opponent against the Bills but from weeks 5-8 he has several favorable matchups (NYJ, MIN, DET).

Jamaal Williams (ESPN 44% Yahoo 58%)

J Williams might be the coolest dude in the damn league. Not only is he a stud on the field but he seems like a dude who parties hard. Throwing back shots and chasing hoes won’t win your many leagues but his workload could help. He saw 13 carries on the day but did not score which he really needs to do to stay fantasy relevant with Swift paving the way. He is a must add if you roster Swift and even so he has flex appeal when Swift is healthy.

Brian Robinson (ESPN 36% Yahoo 42%)

While Antonio Gibson still is the prime suspect in the Brian Robinson case, I am still going to say add him now. Robinson reportingly is back at practice in individual drills. He is not eligible to play until week 5 but this dude may just be a super-healer. Let us not forget before Gibson allegedly shot Robinson, BR was allegedly (as well) named the starting RB. If you have room and can afford to let him ride the bench in the meantime, do it.

Jordan Mason

Originally I had Tyrion Davis-Price here but not long ago news broke of an ankle sprain. TDP will likely miss a few weeks due to this. Tough break for the rookie who logged 14 rushes Sunday. Mason who didn’t log a single carry seems to be the next man up (after Jeff Wilson) but also we should keep an eye on Marlon Mack

Garrett Wilson (ESPN 70% Yahoo 22%)

Priority waiver wire add right here! The rookie WR NO-ONE spoke of put up the 5th most fantasy points of any WR in week 2. 8 catches for 102 yards and we cannot forget the 2 touchdowns, one being the game winner. Wilson now has an insane 22 targets these past 2 games and is clearly Flaccos favorite target. Lets hope the success transitions when Wilson comes back from injury. This is the player to grab this week. Don’t be cheap in FAAB, cough it up.

Joshua Palmer (ESPN 41% Yahoo 27%)

The Palmer week 2 show didn’t live up to its hype but it did show signs of life after a nasty 1st half. Herbert and Palmer were not on key with each other but ultimately got it going on 8 targets for 4 catches and a TD. I still have faith in Palmer even as the third wideout as long as Herbert can stay on the field.

Jahan Dotson (ESPN 61% Yahoo 43%)

Many fantasy experts told us a Dotson repeat was out of the question. Well a big middle finger to them as the rookie finished with 19 fantasy points for a 2nd week in a row. Week 3 you very well might flex him against the Eagles defense. One of your top available WR options.

Jarvis Landry (ESPN 64% Yahoo 54%)

Landrys presence was not felt nearly as much as week 1’s offensive massacre. He went from 9 catches in the first week to 4 but this was expected when facing one of the best defenses in the league. Antoine Winfield held the slot WR in check but the next few weeks can bring brighter day. A matchup against the Panthers and Vikings give Landry flex appeal in deeper formats. He is always going to be a higher targeted guy and suits well in PPR leagues. You may suffer in the TD room with him but he provides solid depth.

Noah Brown (ESPN 1% Yahoo 1%)

Brown really has come along way for the Cowboys. This isnt a spring chicken, but a dude who grinded from the bottom. playing on special teams and backing up for years. Brown these past 2 games have been a significant surprise with 2 straight 5 catch 68+ yard games. This matchup against the bengals is even more special considering he has Cooper Rush throwing to him. 90+ yards and a receiving TD is beautiful. He has taken advantage with WR injuries in Dallas and should be on your radar in deeper formats, or until Tolbert returns.

Nelson Agholor (ESPN 1% Yahoo 1%)

Mac Jones owes Agholor dinner after making a ridiculous TD catch which he had no business catching. It was an easy pick but Agholor showed his athleticism and bounce by going over the db for one of the best catches on Sunday. We know Agholor has break away speed and could make or break your lineup with just 1 deep catch. The vet enjoyed a 110 yard catch game with 6 catches. Next week the Patriots take on the Ravens who I let every know via twitter before the game about the banged up secondary. I am looking at the Patriots to target that area early and often. Parker/Meyers/Agholor have upside in week 3.

Sterling Shepard (ESPN 10% Yahoo 10%)

Quietly again Shepard had a 10+ fantasy football performance. There are several younger sexier WRs on the Giants but Daniel Jones continues to target his experienced wideout. Week 3 the Giants take on the Cowboys.

Gerald Everett (ESPN 31% Yahoo 57%)

Off-season Everett was one of my late round targets if you booted on tight end first half of your drafts. There are a lot of play-makers and great pass catchers on the Chargers but the upside is that he will be looked at as a 4th/5th option to defenses. His red-zone threat and fantasy stock is real. Get this TE as he should finish as a top 12 at his position when it’s all said and done.

Evan Engram (ESPN 17% Yahoo 21%)

Engram looked a lot better in this contest with 7 grabs on 8 targets in a Jax blowout. Engrams talent has never been a question, but mostly his health. To me he is a great streaming option considering the QB upgrade this season. Next 3 weeks he gets the Chargers, Eagles and Texans who have been generous to tight ends.

Irv Smith Jr. (ESPN 33% Yahoo 41%)

After a goose egg week 1 for Smith he bounces right back to the tune of 16+ fantasy points. Irv Smith was a deep sleeper last season until he was injured and missed all of it. He is healthy and looking to be one of Kirk Cousins favorite early targets. 8 targets in week 2 and has a nice matchup against the Lions.

Logan Thomas (ESPN 18% Yahoo 13%)

The long forgotten vet made his voice heard with a TD on 3 catches against Detroit. His involvement in a production offense so far in Washington makes him valuable for those who are struggling at the position with injuries or lack of talent. Week 3 he gets the eagles.
