I have been doing some research on DraftKings all off-season, but the last 2 weeks I have been on the Sportbook app nonstop. Mobile Gambling coming to NY was the best and worst thing to happen to my life. It brought on another addiction for myself, but it was just what I needed. Money is piling in and that sounds like a positive to me.

Is it a tad bit too early to gamble considering the season is over 2 months away? Quite possibly, but I am afraid these current odds won’t stay the same for long.

Trevor Lawrence over 3975.5 passing yards (-105)

While reading this bet and current odds, I for a minute thought I was being punked. I refreshed the app and it was still in front of my eyes. Let me make this clear. DraftKings odds for the most part are horseshit. They are unrealistic and just suck you in. This one thought just seems too good to me true.

With this type of bet your return won’t be huge but the outcome surely will be positive. The only thing holding it back 🤞 is an injury.

Trevor’s rookie season was a mess, but wasn’t all that terrible when comparing other rookie QBs. Under Doug Pederson, Lawrence’s sophmore campaign was a total success. They placed talent around him, just like a smart front office would do, to give their franchise QB a chance to succeed.

Everyone mocked the Kirk signing, which paid off tremendously. The stats were present, but even more so was the chemistry. Evan Engram finally put it altogether health and talent wise. Zay Jones and Marvin Jones supplied Lawrence with efficient route running. Let’s not forget the playmaking pass catching abilities of Etienne. When you add all this up, you get a 4100+ passing yard season from the former #1 pick.

In what world does Lawrence regress as a passer in 2023? When looking at the offense, the only major change to the passing game is Marvin Jones out and Calvin Ridley in. Ridley who is fresh as a fucking just picked apple, 2 seasons removed from a 1374 yard season.

Several QBs notably have hit a different stride come season 3 and Trevow Lawrence is comfort and poise show me no reason he can’t hit 4K yards in a 17 game schedule. The Jaguars offensive line certainly has question marks and will hurt them at times, but Lawrence has proved through mobility and throwing on the run that he can handle it. Lock this bet in.

Keenan Allen or Austin Ekeler to have 1250+ regular season yards (-125)

I won’t even bore you with any Keenan Allen talk because he’s lucky to snags you 1k at this point of his career. Let’s dial all of our attention on Ekeler.

One of my favorite Fantasy Football players of all time is asked to grab you 1251 total yards on the season. Let’s start off keeping this shit simple. In the last 4 years, a Ekeler has easily notched this yard mark 3 times. The one season he missed out was due to missing 6 games. If you erase that season, Ekeler has missed just 1 other game in the other 3. For anyone worried about him missing time, he’s as tough as they come from a RB standpoint.

Ekelers age might be getting close to “old” from his position standpoint, but he has looked nothing close to it. From a yardage statistical standpoint, he had his best season with over 1500+ yards. You are going to have people scare you off with the Quentin Johnson draft pick and younger RBs right behind him on the depth chart but that’s scared talk. He’s the best playmaker on his team and will be utilized so, just like he has the past few seasons.

Ekeler is entering the final year of his contract so he has something to prove. To me this is a win-win because Ekeler giving it his all to earn a fair RB contract on open free agency next year gives Chargers the advantage of beating the absolute shit out of him this season. 49ers 1+ TD in every regular season game (+110)

This one is so intriguing to me because it almost makes you feel like “how does it not happen”. With the status of the 49ers QBs, I can understand why this could make you hesitant. To me I’m looking past the QB and more of the talent around the position, that helped get them to the NFC championship game.

When you have playmakers like CMC and Deebo Samuel who don’t always need to catch a pass to go off on a huge play, it makes me confident in that offense. Let’s not forget the talent of Aiyuk and the stringy/probably will be bald on top of his head soon Kittle. With these same pieces in place last season, we saw the 49ers eclipse a TD in every game. Granted Jimmy G played in a larger chunk, but we also had rookie Brock Purdy to help lead that cause.

Say what you will about the 49ers offense, whoever they plug in will have the confidence of multiple pro-bowl caliber talent around him to hit this mark again.

I have 5 more of these bad boys off the top of my head. Some of the odds of them will give you HUGER RETURNS. Sorry but those are reserved for the Patreons! Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @GrandCentralfan as well as on TikTok @Grandcentralfantasy
