Jared Goff (Yahoo 76% ESPN 52%)

We spoke on our podcast about the Lions Seahawks game which did not disappoint. The Lions beating the Chiefs was great for them but for me as a fantasy owner I knew there was better performances to had. We saw just what we needed from Goff throwing 323 yards and 3 TDs. These are the performances I am expecting with the playmakers on this team and the offense they plan on running. This is 2 straight games with 35 pass attempts, which will lead to big offensive showings and hopefully plenty of shootouts in Lions games. Goffs next couple of games could easily bring 300 yard 2TDs in each of them.

Jordan Love (Yahoo 61% ESPN 40%)

Love is currently one of the top QBs from a Fantasy scoring standpoint to start the young season. 3 TDs in each game to start the season. What makes it more impressive is the fact he has been missing his top WR while missing his top RB this past game. I am still weery of buying into the Love hype as he faced the Bears defense which is terrible and the Falcons defense which is average at best, but no interceptions pops out to me and he has earned the right to be added as a backup. In the coming weeks, he’s going to be a hot commodity for streaming purposes.

Jerome Ford (ESPN 9% Yahoo 17%)

Late addition to the wire, but the highest priority. Nick Chubb just had one of the most gruesome injuries I’ve ever seen to a RB. With Chubbs misfortune comes Fords opportunity who I personally hyped up this off-season. Stefanski always loved running 2 RB sets and every year Chubbs playing time continued to dwindle down more and more. Ford was expected to fill the Hunt role, and now should receive the majority role. He runs behind a great offensive line and flashed his capabilities Sunday night. Huge 75 yard run to bring him over 100 rushing on the day but what many don’t realize is his pass catching abilities are great. Don’t be cheap, get that FAAB money ready.

Kyren Williams (Yahoo 62% ESPN 59%)

The Cam Akers saga is back like we predicted, and Kyren is the main benefactor. Have your myself a day young fella! There is so much to digest in this performance. One of the top defenses, a division matchup on an offense which was projected to be one of the worst of not the worst. Akers already on the trade block according to Rumors. Williams was is #1 priority before the Chubb injury.

Zach Moss (Yahoo 53% ESPN 30%)

With JT set to return week 5, it is Moss who owns the backfield, and it’s not even close. Moss rushed 18 times for 88 yards and a touchdown, and had four catches with 19 yards. Next 2 weeks could be tough but he has a strong offensive line and a QB that is a great runner which defenses are going avert attention too.

Gus Edwards (Yahoo 65% ESPN 32%) Justice Hill (Yahoo 44% ESPN 30%)

The Ravens RBs are going to be a pain in our asses from a Fantasy standpoint. Each week may go to the hot hand or we might see split work. Either way a Ravens RB is always worth rostering and always deserves a shot in a starting lineup given the success the OL seems to always have, and given how the offenses successfully has been moving the ball. Ravens face the Colts this week, who are average against the run.

Roschon Johnson (Yahoo 38% ESPN 29%)

His stat lines don’t get you hyped but the potential is there. Week 1 7 targets was eye opening but week 2 we were let down. Many feel he is more talented than Herbert and I can see why people say this. He’s worth a stash on the end of your benches, you just may have to be patient.

Matt Breida (Yahoo 2% ESPN 1%)

Do I thrive to have a player of Breidas magnitude on my rosters? Of course not but volume equals opportunity. Barkley is looking to miss a few contests with an ankle injury. In his absence, Brieda should assume majority of the workload. He faces SF which is a sit for me, but after that I see some interesting matchups.

Other options

Kareem Hunt, Tyjae Spears

Tutu Atwell (Yahoo 25% ESPN 30%)

You may have missed on Puka, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on Tutu. Puka is getting all the attention rightfully so but Atwell is getting the attention of Stafford as much as some top WRs get from other teams. He now has 13 catches on 17 targets for close to 200 yards. This past game against the 49ers he put up WR2 numbers. Rams clearly are not afraid to throw on anybody as Stafford looks pretty healthy to start the season.

Nico Collins (Yahoo 61% ESPN 62%) /Tank Dell (Yahoo 5% ESPN 4%)

I try not to throw guys in who are owned in over 50% of leagues but Nico is just over the threshold while Tank the rookie will be a hot commodity. Maybe it was the matchup for the Texans, maybe it was playing from behind but either way I’m expecting this offense to show potential scattered throughout the season. Nico seems to be CJ Strouds top option after crushing the week with 7/146/1. The rookie Tank ended with 7/72/1. The main thing to realize about Texans WRs is the ease in schedule for the position. The division is not strong they play in defensively through the air which helps.

Josh Reynolds (Yahoo 12% ESPN 4%)

I spoke before Lions first game that another WR needs to step up in Jameson Williams absence, which I assumed would be Marvin Jones. Reynolds filled that role week 1 and doubled down week 2 with a 2 TD performance. This Lions offense is going to be dangerous all year. I think Reynolds is a quiet add until Williams returns and is a guy you can plug into your flex the next few weeks.

Marvin Mims Jr. (Yahoo 23% ESPN 8%)

Mims should his big play potential with a 60 yard touchdown reception from Wilson. 2 catches 113 yards and even was utilized as a rusher with 2 carries. He did this with Jerry and Cortland active on Sunday which is a great sign. Again he is the 3rd option in an offense led by Wilson so tread lightly, but he’s worthy of a stash in deeper leagues at the least.

Jayden Reed (Yahoo 10% ESPN 13%)

When opportunity strikes you need to cease that bitch, just like Reed did against the Falcons. With Watson out yet again, Reed saw an uptick in playing time and it paid off. 4 catches on 8 targets for 2 TDs. No Watson and Jones probably gave him the chance with more playing time but he’s anintriguing option a Packers office moving forward.

Other options

Sky Moore, Kendrick Bourne, Allen Robinson

Sam LaPorta (Yahoo 72% ESPN 49%)

Rookie TEs are a risk many times in Fantasy but LaPorta looks like a pick who is going to pay off. Week 2 brought 5 catches on 6 targets with 60+ yards. He’s starting his career off with respectable numbers in a great offense that projects to throw a lot. With more experience and time on the field his skillset will be noticed by many. Beat them to the punch. I love his matchup this week against Atlanta.

Hunter Henry (Yahoo 55% ESPN 34%)

Henry seems like a guy who Mac is going to trust a lot. Week 1 is not looking like a fluke with almost identical numbers in week 2. The state of the tight end is poor but when you get a guy who is being targeted 7 times a game and has a TD in each game you snag it.

Other options

Juwan Johnson, Zac Ertz, Hatden Hurst
