CJ Stroud (ESPN 10% Yahoo 18%)

I am extremely impressed with what I have seen from Stroud this rookie season. Beating the Jaguars on the road was eye opening to me. 280 yards with no turnovers and 2 TDs is all you could ask for from a rookie QB. He is grooving with all of his pass catchers and its starting to reflect in fantasy. Week 4 should be tougher against the Steelers but performances like these will have him as a streaming option/backup QB on more teams then we may have thought.

De’Von Achane (ESPN 15% Yahoo 37%)

Need I say more? 203 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards and 4 combined TDs. He had 22 combined total touches which that alone warrants a spot on all rosters. The Dolphins were up big early so I don’t think we will see that type of volume from both RBs every week but he deserves to be the hottest player on the wire.

Kareem Hunt (ESPN 58% Yahoo 73%)

I was somewhat surprised when I learned Hunt would be active just days after signing with the Browns. Clearly he knows the system and playing under Stefanski in Cleveland for years helps, but with no training camp and being away from the game for some time, it was shocking. He was 3rd on the Browns in rushes but you have to assume in time he will be eating closer to Jerome Fords workload as the Browns enjoy divvying up RB work.

Kendre Miller (ESPN 17% Yahoo 32%)

The Saints rookie RB enjoyed his first active game leading the saints rushing room with 9 rushes on 34 yards. Jamaal Williams is no longer an issue for Miller for at least a couple of weeks, but our guy AK is back on track next week. The Saints RB room is going to be tough to juggle, but the state of the position has become slim pickings.

Matt Breida (ESPN 26% Yahoo 30%)

We spoke on Breida last week. He is clearly not our favorite option but he is an OPTION. He led the backfield for the Giants against the 49ers but how much success will come from behind that o-line? Nonetheless hes a starting RB until Barkley returns from his ankle injury and faces the seahawks week 4.

Tank Dell (ESPN 21% Yahoo 28%)

This Texans offense has been making some noise, in a positive way for once. Last week we were pressing you to nab Nico Collins. While he is still our favorite pass catching option in Houston, the rookie Tank Dell is not far behind. Tank had a few huge catches, with a 46 yarder coming early on in the game. Tank scored on a 68 yard TD pass from Stroud to seal the deal later on and end his day with 145 yards. Texans are an offense that clearly is superior at throwing compared to its rushing attack.

Romeo Doubs (ESPN 28% Yahoo 41%)

Christian Watson was labeled out yet again, with Doubs taking advantage of it this week. Doubs led the offense in targets with 12 as well as receiving yards with 73. Love has shown the past 2 weeks his trust and chemistry with Jayden Reed and now Doubs with Watsons lingering injury.

Quention Johnson (ESPN 47% Yahoo 32%)/ Joshua Palmer (ESPN 1% Yahoo 2%)

The Chargers finally put a W on the board with a huge passing performance from Justin Sherbert. Some big news from the contest was disappointing though. Mike Williams landed awkwardly when planting his leg, leading to him being carted off the field(now made aware torn ACL). Opportunity will come now for Joshua Palmer (yet again) and rookie Quentin Johnson. Palmer has received 54% of snap share in the first 2 weeks with Williams on the field so he probably steps in as the 2 but the Chargers spent a first rounder on Quentin and are well aware of all the rookie WRs around the league putting in work. It could be his chance to shine.

Adam Thielen (ESPN 54% Yahoo 47%)

My boy back doing Thielen like things. 11 catches on 14 targets with a TD. The veteran was a late round target of mine in drafts, but failed to look worthwhile the first 2 weeks. With Dalton in, Thielen shined and showed he has plenty left in the tank. Week 4 comes a revenge game for AT who takes on horrible secondary. I need to see Bryce Young/Thielen connection to flourish now if he’s back week 4.

Luke Musgrave (ESPN 14% Yahoo 19%)

Luke has been a name on the rise the last 2 weeks considering Loves success through the air. The rookie had his top performance with 6 catches on 8 targets. He’s playing a huge chunk in the Packers offense, but what will it look like when Watson and Aaron Jones are on the field? Whatever the case it, he’s worthy of a look with how terrible the Tight End position has been this season.
