Week 10 Waiver Wire Targets

Baker Mayfield (ESPN 44% Yahoo 48%)

We have to give credit to Baker this year. 12 TDs and 4 picks through 8 games and is probably playing the best ball of his career. His matchup against the Texans will be remembered by Strouds amazing performance but right before that Mayfield brought his team down the field and ended the drive with a TD to his TE. Baker is one of my favorite streamers this week due to his consistent play this season as well as his matchup against the Titans

Kyler Murray (ESPN 36% 59%)

Murray could make his debut this Sunday against the Falcons. Murray has missed all of this season, but could be a nice shot in the dark pickup considering his upside as a pass and as a runner. I am not expecting Murray to return and be a top 10 QB off the bat, but we know his upside.

Other Options: Derek Carr, Joshua Dobbs

Keaton Mitchell (ESPN 1% Yahoo 4%)

Mitchell is a RB we have brought up a few times as a low risk high reward. Injuries have slowed the start of his career. He brings a different element to this Ravens rushing attack with true speed and playmaking abilities. He should continue to see several run in this offense that enjoys success behind a great offensive line. He is one of the best RB adds on the wire in some time as his upside ROS is massive.

Tyler Allgeier (ESPN 48% Yahoo 57%)

I wish I was a mind reader so I can figure out what the fuck Arthur Smith is doing with Bijan. He split plenty of time with Allgeier, with Tyler seeing more rushes. We know Arthur Smith is a coach who emphasizes the run. Allgeier was super efficient last year, but nobody saw him seeing the field this much once Bijan was selected.

D’Onta Foreman (ESPN 47% Yahoo 57%)

I wrote off Bears RBs on our week 9 podcast, but Foreman has me second guessing myself. A whopping 20 rushes for only 83 yards. Holy volume. I am even more impressed that it was against the Saints run defense, a well respected line. Khalil Herbert is eligible to return from the IR but I can not see them just handing over the backfield the way Foreman has been bullying defenses.

Chuba Hubbard (ESPN 52% Yahoo 70%)

Chubba was the main back again for the Panthers, with modest numbers against the Colts. He rushed for 58 yards on 16 carries but again these are better numbers than what we have seen from Sanders. He added 4 catches on 6 targets to cap his matchup. Hubbard to me should continue to be the led back and will have a chance to right the ship in a favorable matchup against the Bears.

Devin Singletary (ESPN 48% Yahoo 50%)

Singletary was given the keys to the starting role with Pierce labeled out. His car hit a fucking pothole leaving him with a flat 13 for 26. While I was very devastated since I have been advocating for Devin every week on the wire, the Bucs remain tough against the run. The positive is 3 straight weeks with 10+ rushes.

Other options: Ezekiel Elliot, Leonard Fournette, Zach Charbonnet

Tank Dell (ESPN 57% Yahoo 48%)

Its been a while since we spoke on Tank Dell has fantasy relevant but he made his voice heard loudly Sunday afternoon, as did most of the offense for the Texans. Tank was one of 3 Texans with 100+ yards and led the team in targets(tied) and receiving TDs with 2. Nico Collins has been viewed as Strouds top target but Dell is making a case. Top WR add of the week and possibly the top of all.

Darnell Mooney (ESPN 29% Yahoo 14%)

Mooney has not made much noise this season which you can say for most of the Bears offense. On Sunday he had his best game of the season with 5 catches and 80+ yards. He is the clear cut 2nd WR for the Bears and has flex appeal week 10 against the Panthers.

Quentin Johnson (ESPN 31% Yahoo 32%)

I am writing this before the Jets Chargers MNF matchup. Josh Palmer has already been placed on the IR and we all know Fat Mike Williams is out for the season. The first round pick steps into the 2nd WR role behind Keenan Allen and is expected a major uptick in volume Monday night and beyond. Whether he has a big game or not, I think Johnson in this offense has huge potential.

Demario Douglas (ESPN 21% Yahoo 35%)

The Pats top WR Bourne tore his ACL last week, which led us to believe Douglas would become the next man up in New England. He didn’t light the world on fire, but he lets the Pats with 55 receiving yards and ties for the team high in targets. He continues to get looks from Mac and faces the Colts in week 10 which fares well for WRs.

Other Options: Khalil Shakir, Noah Brown, Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Taysom Hill (ESPN 39% Yahoo 64%)

Every week Hill will be here until people realize he’s for real. He legit does it all. Any aspect of the offensive game he can make his presence felt. He’s a true triple threat. Caught a TD pass, threw a TD pass and led the team is rushing. First player since 1957 to have at least 10 rushing, passing and receiving TDs. Add your starting TE now.

Cade Otton (ESPN 7% Yahoo 5%)

Otton lit it up for the Bucs pass catching room. He led the team in receptions and targets with 6 and 9(ahem). He also hauled in 2 TDs in a high scoring affair. I think it’s safe to say Baker and the Bucs offense has outperformed what most of us felt they would be. Otton could be a nice streaming option week 10 against the Titans.

Other options: Trey McBride, Jonnu Smith
