Fantasy Basketball Trade Targets

NBA is almost to its halfway point with plenty of teams letting us know who they are. There are lots of the same production from players as well as others making a name for themselves. I have researched and developed a list of well known players that should be rostered in all formats. These players are not the top notch guys at there positions but could be shortly on there ways. Read and Enjoy!
Jamal Murray PG/SG
The young Wildcat starts off our list of trade targets in Fantasy Basketball. Murray is enjoying career high numbers this season in PPG, assists and rebounds. He’s an intregal part of a Nuggets offense that currently sits in the 2nd spot of the West. Now here comes the issue with the guard, his FG% and 3 point% has dropped significantly. With the multiple injuries the Nuggets have encountered, Murray has been relied on to shoot more. With the guys like Millsap, Barton and Harris returning soon, Murray might see a slight spike in his points but overall it will be something he benefits from. The 3rd year player will elevate his game even more.
Khris Middleton SG/SF
Middleton has been the side kick to the Greak Freek for sometime now. In his 7 year career he has posted relatively solid numbers all around. Just last year Middleton eclipsed the 20 PPG mark and saw career high numbers in several other categories. Many people were high in the draft on Middleton, with an ADP of 33. Middleton’s production has clearly not matched his value. He has posted poor shooting numbers so far this season, which should not last long. Looking at his career numbers, his FG% is severely low compared to every other year, telling me he is better then his current play. Now is the time to swoop in and grab Middleton. Several fantasy owners have grown furious and will move him for the right price.
TJ Warren SF/PF
This forward in Phoneix is one of the bright spots on a very young inexperienced team. With the trade of Ariza, Warren has been given even more playing time. He is quietly making an impact especially in fantasy formats. Although his PPG are slightly lower then last year he is easily having his best shooting year. His FG % is par with his career average but his 3 point efficiency is sky high compared to what he has shown. With more playing time and a young team trying to prove themselves Warren can be a nice piece to add with more potential that can be untapped.

Larry Nance Jr PF/C

The Cavs are day and night compared to last year due to The King. Not only has the best player on the Planet hurt this team but the roster has been ridiculed with injuries. With Love and Thompson out, Nance has been given the opportunity to start and boy has he been productive. Since entering the starting lineup Nance has averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, over 2 steals and a block per game. Those numbers translate to huge fantasy points. In time the Cavs will get healthy but they can’t afford to take minutes away from the young athlete. He has earned himself a solid role with this horrible team and could be a steal if you can acquire him as some owners might be nervous about his playing time in the future. I for one am not scared of it.
