Week 17 Daily Fantasy Football Value Picks

Just want to thank everyone for reading my daily value picks each week. This is our first year sharing our advice and we feel we were very successful. I had a lot of fun writing these blogs and can’t wait to continue to give our all to you. Thank you!

Ben Roethlisberger QB DK 7000 FD 8700

In a tricky week for daily fantasy we decided to suggest you spend the money on an expensive and more sure thing. The Steelers have the playoffs on the line this week. Sprinkle that and the Bengals defense and you got yourself a potentially huge offensive performance in the horizon. The Steelers have thrown the ball more then any team this year, especially these past 6 games. Look for Big Ben to chuck the rock all day to his big name guys in hops of another postseason run.

Chris Carson RB DK 6500 FD 6400

Carson has the pleasure of facing one of the worst run defenses this week. If that doesn’t motivate him enough, maybe the Seahawks possibly moving up in the playoff standings will. Carson has been one of the main focal points of the Hawks offense. Carson’s downhill running style and ability to avoid tacklers makes him a top tier play this week. His price is at 6500 which is very generous considering he could finish as a top 5 RB in daily formats.

CJ Anderson RB DK 5400 FD 6200

The Rams decision to sit Gurley has us drooling for more CJ. After see him torch the Cardinals run defense ( to be fair everyone does) we were interested to see how much money we would have to spend. We were very happy with the price. Not only does the vet have a solid resume and a chance at a Super Bowl, but the back is also playing for his next contract. In just his one game with the Rams he has GMs ears perking around the league. He faces a 49ers defense that is prone to giving up big games to backs.

Royce Freeman RB DK 3500 FD 4700

Freeman has been handed the nod with Lindsay’s season heading to the IR. He will certainly split the workload with partner Booker but will see majority of snaps. The Chargers are a very respectable defense but Freeman has great value for his extremely low price tag. We would highly consider you add Freemen to your lineups if your funds are very low and need a cheap option.

Davante Adams WR DK 8000 FD 8500

Although the Packers have nothing to play for, I fully suspect Adams will receive a high workload. Adams is within striking distance of the Packers all time receiving yards record, and many analyst around the league feel Rodgers will make sure he gets it. You can chalk him up for a TD as well as he has 13 in 15 games. He will most certainly live up to his price and then some.

Robby Anderson WR DK 5600 FD 7000

Broward County’s finest has caught himself on our value list yet again. In his last 3 games hes averaged over 10 targets, over 6 grabs, 104 yards and 1 touchdown per game. This was the production the Jets were expecting to see all year between Darnold to Anderson. The Jets will do everything in there power to keep the Patriots as low of a playoff seed as possible. With Andersons recent hot surge, he should be a big part of the offense yet again. For the money he could provide some serious value against a defense that has struggled against the position.

Jordy Nelson WR DK 4900 FD 5200

Another receiver resurrected from the dead these past few weeks makes our value picks. The former elite WR has posted numbers we have been accustomed to seeing. In his last 4 games he has double digit fantasy points with 3 outings of 14.5 or more. Those are productive numbers for a guy with a lower end price. The touchdowns haven’t been there but the yardage has. That plays into his contest against the Chiefs this week who allow the 5th most receiving yards to WRs.

Jared Cook TE DK 5500 FD 6000

A second RAIDAAA makes the daily value plays. Cook has been ice cold the past 2 weeks after being scorching hot the prior 2. Luckily Cook plays a defense that has given up the most fantasy points to tight ends om average. I also feel the Raiders have been playing much better and would love to finish the year on a high not beating one of the best teams that just so happens to be a division rival. Lock Cook into your lineups.
