Reports starting earlier today that Porzingis left a meeting with the Knicks front brass unsure of the direction for his team. Soon after trade rumors were swirling. Names like Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving and multiple first round picks were being thrown around. In my mind I am thinking it’s not possible. Porzingis needs to squash these rumors and let his city know that he is in this like he has preached multiple times. As soon as that though occurred I unfortunately refreshed my twitter page.

Why rush this trade? Why so quickly? This young Latvian hero did not have to be in the move just because of his intentions with the team. He is obligated under contract to be a Knick regardless his feelings of how the organization is ran.
A once superhero and much need savior of an organization that needed saving is on the move for expiring contracts and a nice young player but not great player. We need answers. The city of NY and most importantly it’s fans don’t deserve this. They do not deserve this constant anxiety and mistreated, dysfunctional mess.
Is this really the best offer? Did they aggressively pursue trades with other teams? Are people really this arrogant that they think Durant and Kyrie both want to be a part of a storied failed franchise? WE NEED ANSWERS AND IT STARTS AT THE TOP.
