1. Tennessee Titans OVER/UNDER- 7.5 Wins

Best Bet: OVER

Mariota and company are getting picked to have a down year this year, and i really do not understand why. The titans have been building something serious with Mike Vrabel as their leader, and are trying to take the next step from good to great. What will keep them from taking that step? Not Derrick Henry, who had a major breakout second half last year. Not Vrabel and the coaching staff who have put together one of the most innovative defensive schemes in the NFL today. but it would be Marcus Mariota who people are having concerns with. The often injured QB is always hurt when the Titans need him the most. Luckily, we aren’t talking about fantasy football here.

The Titans have found a way to win 9 games in three straight seasons. And with their young team only getting more experience, I don’t see why they would take a step back to 7 wins.

Put a decent amount on this one.

2. New York Jets OVER/Under: 7.5 Wins

Best Bet: OVER

Let’s put this in the category of absolutely stealing money. You have a young stud QB in Sam Darnold paired with an offensive minded coach, and on top of that you have arguably the best offensive player with the league in Le’veon Bell! how is this offense not going to score enough points to win 8 games?! How?!

We touched on the Jets offense a bit in our Darnold fantasy write up here (Why Sam Darnold is this years Fantasy X-Factor) so we won’t get into it too much more, but in short; do not sleep on the New York offense this year. And the defense is anchored by franchise safety Jamal Adams who may be on h s way to defensive player of the year honors in new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams system. Add the bolstered defensive line with Quinnen Williams up the middle, you have all the makings of a playoff team.

I expect that 7.5 number to be embarrassing for Vegas in retrospect. Bet the mortgage on this one.

3. New York Giants OVER/Under: 6 Wins

Best Bet: Under

I am not here to sugar coat it for you Giant fans, because it’s not going to be pretty. The New York media is trying to get behind the Giants as they usually do by rallying around Eli Manning and saying “ThE NeW yOrK FoOtBaLl GiAnTs GoT a ChAnCe ThIs YeAr!”.

Listen, contrary to popular belief, getting rid of one of the best players in the league is not addition by subtraction. The Giants trading Odell beckham Jr, and then promptly fucking their draft up will not help them win any more games this year. Beckham partying on yachts is not why the giants have been so mediocre 4 out of the past 5 years. It is the front office and ownership incompetence that has got them to this point.

From a pure X’s and O’s perspective, the giants offense outside of Saquon Barkley is a joke. And their defense is nothing to write home about either. It is always a dog fight in the NFC East, but the Giants are only two years removed from a 3 win season. So it possible they dip below the 6 number.

Hammer the under here.
