Sam Darnold aka Sammy Franchise aka Sammy Touchdowns holds the keys to a lot of things this season. Not only does the second year highly touted prospect out of USC hold the keys to the New York Jets season, he also holds the keys to your fantasy football season!

I know nobody is going to believe me, so let me break it down. Right now the Sam God is going in the 17th round and ranked as the 18th QB overall. To me, this hands down makes him one of the most lethal sleepers of all time. You’re telling me I can get a guy with arguably the best offensive weapon in the NFL in his backfield and a youth fully talented group of receivers led by Robbie Anderson aka Da Sun God (shoutout r/NYJets on reddit) in the later rounds or even undrafted?! And that same guy has a new head coach that despite him looking like a robot who has a box of kiddy porn in his basement, runs an offense that has proven it can produce great fantasy stats for quarterbacks! Ryan Tannenhill was a literal garbage can with a helmet on and that offense made him fantasy relevant. And that is just a fact.

Darnold showed flashes of what he could do especially down the stretch last year. Shitting on the Green Bay secondary in what was for most teams the fantasy championship for 3 touchdowns and 341 yards. He will only get better this year with the best security blanket a young QB can have in Le’Veon Bell. A man who can not only run it like his hair is on fire, but catch out of the back field and take it to the house with ease. Another big thing that only people who watch Jets games will notice is that this guy makes his receivers better, not the other way around. At the beginning of his rookie season Quincy Enunwa was the Darnold Whisperer, according to the media. But when Enunwa got hurt, Darnold simply spread the ball around. Finishing the season with giving Robbie Anderson so many targets down field he became an instant WR2 down the stretch.

I am telling you GCF fam get this guy on draft day, especially if you are in a keeper/dynasty league. He will be a nice secret weapon for you especially mid season when he really has a full understanding and control of the new offense. Sammy was a stud prospect for a reason and had an underrated rookie year to go along with that pedigree. Please don’t miss this free money!
