Thanksgiving Special Edition DFS Value Picks

We all know the top targets in DFS this Thanksgiving our Elliot, Kamara, Thomas etc. This blog is here to help with those last spots to fill your lineups after you picked your studs. Last year we posted a Thanksgiving DFS Blog and it was a big hit. I felt it was important to bring this back for our gambling followers in hope of winning some cheddar.

Now remember these are value picks. This does not mean place every single one of these players into your lineup. Feel free to pick and choose a couple and also feel free to message us for more advice!

One last note, if anyone is interested in a DFS lineup in DraftKings or FanDuel DM us for more info.

Please enjoy your time with friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving!

Mitch Trubisky (DK 5300 FD 6800)

Yes I did place the lowest priced starting QB as a target for your DFS Thanksgiving entries but here is why. Mitch faces off against the Lions who rank in the bottom third of the league in pass defense. The Lions also have given up the MOST passing yards a game at home. I understand at the end of the day it is Mitchell Trubisky but there is upside in his matchup. If you want to go cheap at QB you can afford to spend more in other positions. give some thought in pairing Mr. Biscuit with Allen Robinson as he should feast on Turkey Day.

David Montgomery (DK 5400 FD 5900)

Another Bear added to the value list. The rookie has slowed down heavily the past 3 weeks but he should pick it up against the Lions who have been manhandled by opposing backs. The Lions have allowed the 2nd most points on average per game to RBs in fantasy. If there was a game to pick up the slack, this is it.

I would like to give Tarik Cohen a shout out as the Lions have been god awful(big surprise) against pass catching backs. They have allowed the 3rd most receiving yards to rbs as well as the MOST receiving touchdowns to the position.

Bo Scarbrough (DK 4700 FD 6100)

Now here’s a guy who should really excite you! If you didn’t catch my sarcasm calm your ass down. Let’s take a look as to how the hell this no namer just a few short weeks ago can be of any value in daily fantasy. I have some news for y’all out there, the Bears defense is not that scary! In 5 of there past 7 matchups, the Bears have allowed there opponents to run 100+ yards. What happen to all that dominant talk about the defense during the offseason? Bo took majority of the carries for Detroit and should continue his upward trend. If you spend heavy elsewhere and have only a select amount of money left at RB position, this might be your guy.

Michael Thomas (DK 9100 FD 9200)

This is a no brainer. Obviously we all want Thomas but the reason I put him here is people may be deterred by his price tag. SPEND IT! The guy has been a machine all season and he doesn’t even care who his QB is. He is on pace to break Marvin Harrison’s single season reception record and provides plenty of points in the yards and touchdown categories. He is facing a Falcons defense who have caught some praise lately, but was also just torched by the Bucs top receivers. Michael, I am thankful for you in DFS.

Calvin Ridley (DK 6600 FD 6500)

Ridley is coming into Thanksgiving Hot with his last 2 performances. 22 targets 14 catches 228 yards and 2 TDs in 2 games has me feeling nice going into this matchup. The Saints secondary looks solid on paper but are nothing impressive in the Fantasy world as they allow the 9th most fantasy points to the position. Ridleys last performance against the Saints was a dud but he seems to be a streaky player and I’m running with the hot streak.

Now if Julio Jones is to miss this matchup as he is currently questionable, we would say go all in on Russell Gage. Marshon Lattimore would slide over and cover Ridley and Gage would take advantage as the #2. Keep your eyes peeled!

Michael Gallup (DK 5500 FD 6800)

Let me be the first to tell you not to start Amari Cooper. For the love of god please DO NOT start Cooper. While we just covered the obvious, we are telling you if there is one receiver to start for the Cowboys in DFS it is Gallup. Cooper and Cobb are facing 2 cornerbacks that have shut down each teams top WR and slot receiver. What many people are unaware of are the Bills coverage against there #2 cornerback Levi Wallace, who is responsible for all the Bills receiving touchdowns to WRs. Gallup has really performed well this season and Dak continues to grow chemistry with the star sophomore. He has seen double digit targets in 2 of his last 3 games. Many will be scared because of this Bills defensive reputation but I’m here to tell you he’s the best receiving option out there in Dallas this week.

Jared Cook (DK 4800 FD 6700)

The Fantasy Schedule Gods were not so thankful this Thanksgiving to fantasy tight ends as we have been handed nothing special. Your best option this holiday is Mr. Cook. Since returning from injury, Cook has had at minimum 11 points in the 3 games, including a huge performance last week against the Panthers.

If you really do not want to spend the money on Cook, we would tell you good fricken luck. We also would lean you the way of Jaeden Graham, the current starting tight end for the Falcons. If Hooper misses another game(which we feel he will), Graham could be a nice sleeper pick. In his last 2 matchups, Graham has ran the 7th most routes among tight ends. Not much production has come from that but what it’s telling me is they are trying to get him going in the passing game. Food for thought.

Bears (DK 2500 FD 5000)

It is only right to select the Bears defense as our value pick after calling them not scary up above. We feel the Bears are the pick, originally because of Jeff Driskel, but with a Lions QB hurt again we feel even more comfortable with David Blough who is getting the starting nod. This makes my mouth water as if I’m staring at some Thanksgiving Pecan Pie. We should see some sacks and Turnovers from Da Bears! For a cheaper and solid option in FanDuel we would lean toward the Cowboys.
