Week 14 (Playoff) Waiver Wire Targets

Ryan Fitzpatrick (ESPN 5% Yahoo 10%)

Fitzmagic has got to be one of the top, if not the top QB streamer for week 14. I’m not chalking this up as a revenge game. Fitz notches this spot due to solid play and a weak secondary. Earlier in the year Fitz handles the Jets with a 3 TD performance to snap there winless streak. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a similar stat line.

Derrius Guice (ESPN 52% Yahoo 51%)

I warned everyone right before Guices return that the Redskins would ease him back into a starting role as they drafted him to be just that. It took just 3 weeks for Guice to unleash the beast with a 129 yard 2 TD performance. The most impressive part was he did it on just 10 carries. While I don’t expect him to see a huge increase in carries, he is the top waiver wire RB to grab this week.

Benny Snell Jr (ESPN 17% Yahoo 34%)

There is some risk with this pickup but also reward. Snell has taken full advantage of Conners absence the past 2 weeks with 37 carries. That’s a hefty amount of carries available on the wire. The issue is if Conner will return this week. If you have the luxury of adding Snell to a bench spot he would be a great addition.

Raheem Mostert (ESPN 14% Yahoo 14%)

When an injury to the RB position hits the 49ers, Mostert has been called upon and been extremely productive. This last weeks however is changing his stock drastically. Mostert surpassed Coleman in carries on the day with a team high 19. With Brieda out and Coleman struggling to get it going the past few games, Mostert could be a great late season add.

James Washington (ESPN 23% Yahoo 23%)

Considering all the injuries to the Steelers offense, it’s insane to see any spark out of them. With our 2nd Steeler on the waiver wire report, Washington should be one of the top receiver streamers in week 14. The 2nd year wideout has been on a year. In 3 of his past 4 games he has eclipsed 90 yards. In those 3 games he has grabbed a touchdown. If Juju remains out, Washington is a great add against a shaky cardinals secondary.

Zach Pascal (ESPN 25% Yahoo 17%)

Pascals name has popped up more times on this report then possibly anyone. With Hilton still our last week he finally gave us the game we were waiting for. Unfortunately several people has him on there bench. Pascal is worth of a flex play this week against a team who just might be the worst defending the pass. If Hilton sits out then Pascal is an automatic start.

Darius Slayton (ESPN 24% Yahoo 27%)

The rookie fifth round pick has been one of the only bright spots for the gmen this year. With injuries to most of there top pass catching options, Slayton has filled in there spots successfully. In his 3 last games he has been targeted at least 7 times and one game he was targeted 14! His playoff matchup is worth noting as he plays some of the worst defenses against the pass. He’s worth at the least a bench spot on your roster.

Jack Doyle (ESPN 46 % Yahoo 58%)

Doyle took full advantage this week of Ebrons season ending surgery hogging all the targets from the tight end position. Doyle snagged 6 of those 11 targets. He also caught a touchdown in 3 of his last 5 contests. He’s a solid start down the stretch if you have had some rough play at tight end.
