Week 2 Daily Fantasy Football Value Picks

Jimmy Garrappolo DK 5700 FD 7100

One of the things I can’t stress enough in daily fantasy is to pair your QB with a wide receiver teammate. I do this about 90% of the time with my daily lineups with it usually paying off. This circumstance is slightly different because Garrappolo has so many injuries to his receiving core but he is facing a Jets defense that made Josh Allen throw for over 300 yards for the first time in his career. It’s a crapshoot who can lead the 49ers in receiving with Kittle potentially sitting but regardless Jimmy G should have an efficient day. His price tag is low. If you do not have the funds to pair a QB with a stud WR this could be an alternative for you.

Ronald Jones DK 5200 FD 5900

Arians shocked most of us when he fed Ronny boy the ball 17 times and barely utilized the recently signed All-Pro Fournette. Nonetheless Rojo is the starter for now and faces a Panthers defense who gave up a ton of fantasy points and rushing touchdowns to Josh JAcobs last week. Considering his snap count, opponent and price, he could be a viable RB2/flex play in your daily lineups

James Robinson DK 4400 FD 5300

Not one other RB recorded a carry Sunday for the 1-0 Jags. Robinson dominated the backfield carries and should do so again against the Titans this week. He isn’t the sexiest pick but he’s relatively cheap for a starting RB coming off a 98 yard 1 TD performance with no true competition.

Antonio Gibson DK 4300 FD 5100

The rookies debut was not a historic performance but he led the football team with rushing yards despite having half the carries that starter Peyton Barber had. This is a riskier pick considering the difference in workload especially in the red zone but Gibson looks like the sharper player of the two. If Washington decides to give Gibson a larger workload in his 2nd NFL game, he could put up respectable fantasy points as he faces a weak Cardinals run defense.

Parris Campbell DK 4500 FD 5300

Parris was a huge part of Indys passing offense last week catching 6 of 9 targets for 71 yards. I spoke about him in the offseason as well as waiver wire pickups this week because he is going to continue to be a important part of the Colts offense. Dare I say he dethrones Hilton as the #1 WR? The Colts face the Vikings who were an utter mess against the Packers pass attack last week. Campbell will be in several of my daily leagues which will allow me to spend big in other areas.

CeeDee Lamb DK 4700 FD 5200

I am quite surprised how low the industry is on Lamb this week. It seems every year the Falcons can’t stop any teams passing offense and Dallas has one of the most dangerous ones. Pairing Dak with a Cowboys wideout this week is a no brainer so choosing Lamb could be a great option. In his rookie debut the Cowboys struggled but Lamb still caught 5 passes for 59 yards. I am feeling a huge performance this week and he’s a must add in your lineups.

Mike Williams DK 4200 FD 5800

From highly unlikely to play to most targeted Charger in week 1, Williams is cost-efficient and should be in most of your lineups. Now I am unsure if Lynn will continue the terrible play-calling of Taylor throwing deep down the field, but if he does Williams will continue to be fed.The Chargers are hosting the defending Super Bowl champions so expect them to be playing from behind alot and early (hence lots of passes).

Jonnu Smith DK 4200 FD 4900

Smith is an intriguing play this week against the Jaguars defense. The young tight end was one target shy of Brown and Davis from the team high and caught a TD. With AJ Brown potentially missing week 2, this should equate to more targets spread around on the titans offense. I’m actually quite surprised how cheap Jonnu is this week the more I write about him.
