Week 4 Waiver Wire Targets

Waiver Wire Targets for Week 4

Jared Goff (ESPN 37% Yahoo 63%)

Goff is a solid streaming option this week and statistically speaking rosterable. He sits in the top 10 for all QBs on the young season. Goff is averaging 2 TDs a game and just under 300 passing yards. He faces the Giants this week who made Nick Mullens look like Joe Montana and has a great schedule the rest of the way. Keep an eye out for Jared!

Carlos Hyde (ESPN 10% Yahoo 19%)

Chris Carson has a very slim chance of playing this week but is most likely out and possibly for 2 games. Next man up, Carlos Hyde. Hyde is an excellent backup offense for the 2nd hottest offense in foosball. Let’s not forget Carlos Hyde finished 12th last year in rushing yards. He’s efficient and has a sexy matchup against the fish. (ESPN 10% Yahoo 19%)

Jeff Wilson Jr. (ESPN 15% Yahoo 23%)

Once again yours truly was right when he said Wilson would heavily be utilized in the 49ers offense. While he wasn’t efficient as a ball carrier he was handed the ball 12 times to McKinnons 14. He did most of his damage through the air with 50+ receiving yards and a Td. With Mostert and Coleman to still miss time, Wilson is worth an add if you have some injuries to the position.

Myles Gaskin (ESPN 46% Yahoo 47%)

Gaskin has more carries then Howard and Breida together through 3 weeks. It’s time to roster Gaskin. While he hasn’t been this electric RB he hasn’t been terrible either averaging a pedestrian 4 yards per carry. Nonetheless he is the lead back for the Dolphins. He also has been targeting the third most on the fish so to be he has plenty of value on your bench in all formats.

Sony Michel (ESPN 38% Yahoo 58%)

Where did that performance come from? Granted Burkhead and the rest of the Patriots offense went off with 250+ rushing yards combined on the day, still I am genuinely shocked at the production. It’s clear the Patriots want to be a run first offense which means good things for Michel. When Belichick is your coach you never know what guy is going to be “the guy” at the RB position but you got to feel good with what you saw last week. It’s time to roster Michel again until he breaks your hearts again.

Allen Lazard (ESPN 39% Yahoo 49%)

People wake up and jump on the hype. Lazard is a huge piece to the Packers offensive puzzle and needs some more damn respect. I said last week Lazard was the Packer wideout to own over MVS and damn it feels to be right. With Adams last week, Lazard was leaned on heavily to the tune of 6/146/1. That’s good enough for the 6th best performance for PPR wideouts. He also is sitting in the top 10 for all wideouts on the season. What are you waiting for? Add him in every damn format. Seriously, get off our site and claim claim claim.

Justin Jefferson (ESPN 34% Yahoo 32%)

The stud rookie finally showed us what the Vikings envisioned when drafting him, going off for 7/175/1. What a day and there is plenty more to come with a favorable schedule these next few weeks for Viking wideouts. He was drafted in a solid amount of leagues but his production warranted a drop for most owners the first 2 weeks. If you fortunately see him on your waiver wire he is the must add WR.

Brandon Aiyuk (ESPN 17% Yahoo 28%)

Aiyuk finally got a full run after missing week 1 with a hamstring injury and being limited last week. The 49ers who are decimated by injuries needed some guys to step up offensively and Brandon heard his name. He was targeted 8 times bringing in 5 of those on 70 yards. He even got some run in the runnining game with 3 carries and a rushing TD, something we have seen a lot of by SF the past few years. Even with Kittle and Samuel returning soon, Aiyuk will be relied on and had a nice couple matchups coming up. Potential flex play.

Anthony Miller (ESPN 29% Yahoo 46%)

Anytime Mitch Trubisky sits on the bench you have to bump up his teammates fantasy relevance. It’s Nick Foles season now for da bears and Miller. This is nothing but good news for Miller as Foles sparked life into the Bears comeback win. I would probably choose the above guys first over Miller but overall he’s a solid player to target in 12 team leagues.

Alshon Jeffery (ESPN 14% Yahoo 14%)

I am so against this guy but I am putting him on here because maybe I am just biased. Jefferey has had a respectable career but injuries ALWAYS rise with the big man. The Eagles offense is in disarray but maybe Jefferey coming back can help as the Eagles are having so many injuries to the position. His next few games aren’t great matchups but the middle to 2nd half of the season looks a little brighter. Let’s just hope for good health if targeting him.

Dalton Schultz (ESPN 24% Yahoo 31%)

Quite surprised at how little Schultz is owned in leagues. Week 2 he had a monster workload of 10 targets with 9 grabs and a score. Week 3 he wasn’t as efficient but still was thrown to half dozen times. Schultz plays in one of the best offenses and should he rostered in all 12 team leagues.

Mo Alie-Cox (ESPN 9% Yahoo% 10)

Aloe-Cox has become one of Rivers favorite targets and we shouldn’t be surprised. Rivers has made a living of feeding his tight ends and the former basketball athlete turned football player fits the mold. He’s a deep league add only and has a couple of games coming up where he’s a great streaming option.
