Week 7 Must Sits

Its time for your Week 7 Must Sits. Thios list is composed of those guys who just cant be trusted this week and guys you might have to double think about.

Jared Goff vs Chicago

Goff kicks off Monday Night Football against da Bears! Goff has such an up and down season but this week is going to go down as another down week. The Bears defense has left Quarterbacks averaging the fewest fantasy points per game. There are several solid streaming options I am sure on your waiver wire so If you don’t have another option on your team besides Goff get your ass to the wire.

Ryan Tannehill vs Pittsburgh

Tanny has been one of my favorite QBs because who doesn’t love a nice underdog story. Unfortunately it won’t be such a fairy tale ending against the ferocious Steelers defense. Steel city is ranked 2nd in least about of total yards per game and cause constant chaos on opposing QBs which shows in the turnover column. Guys play this one appropriately by benching Tannehill.

Jerrick McKinnon at New England

Guys are you kidding me? What is with all the McKinnon love? He has been a more then capable fill-in with the Mostert injury but against the Pats defense? I understand that he will certainly be part of the game plan but this is a Bill Belichek led defense that ranks in the top 5 in fewest fantasy points on average to running backs per game. Sit em.

Damien Harris/ Rex Burkhead vs San Francisco

While we are on the Patriots and 49ers game lets look at the other backs involved. I feel James Whites usage will be effective through the pass game but the 49ers are another squad who is shut down against the run. Cam Newton will most likely lead the way with attempts again making Harris and Burkhead to me touchdown or bust. I am confidently passing up on these New England Backs

JuJu Smith-Schuster @ Tennessee

This is more then a gut feeling then anything but Juju should take a seat this week. The Titans defense against the pass has been less then stellar but Juju in the sit column is more due to his lack of productivity and depth at the position. Since week 1 his receiving yards have gotten lower and lower to the point of a 6 yard performance against the Browns. With Diontae Johnson back who was stealing all the targets earlier and Claypool apparently the second coming of Jesus Christ, we are looking at Juju as a boom or bust guy. If you are struggling at the spot I get it but you cant be feeling to hot about him these days. Sit em.

Odell Beckham Jr. @ Cincinnati

Get that man a chair because in Week 7 we are sitting him. This sit has more to do with his inept QB who I did not trust before his rib injury. You hear the Bengals defense so you think thats an automatic blow up performance but honestly they are better then many people think. Now I am not saying they are a good defense but they are hoovering around the middle of the league in several stats against receivers. Since his 3 TD performance against the Cowboys he has been very quiet. I am looking toward my bench this week.

Laviska Shenault @ LA Chargers

Shenault has really impressed as of late and hes a solid bench guy but lets look at the big picture. He is competing behind DJ Chark and Keelan Cole for targets. Early on he was being utilized in the rushing game and that has faded. The Chargers pass defense has been successful this year. They have limited wide outs to just 3 touchdowns which ranks them tied for 2nd best. You can easily find a better option this week so sit take a damn seat.

Jared Cook vs Carolina

I see some of you are still holding out hope for good ole Jared Cook. Tsk tsk. He finally had his first relevant outing since week 1 catching a whopping 2 balls on 52 yards and a TD. Well whoop dee doo Basil! Get to your waiver wire because its been shut down city for the Panthers against tight ends this year.
