AFC Over/Under

AFC EAST

Buffalo Bills-(OVER 10.5) I feel this win total is low for the Bills. I view them as Super Bowl contenders and easily a 12 win team. They added Emmanuel Sanders and Matt Brieda this offseason which I feel will help take some pressure off Josh Allen with more weapons. I look for the defense to be more consistent this year and help out Allen with some short field opportunities. The AFC East is the Bills to lose, take the over and run with it.

New England Patriots-(OVER 9) This one was the toughest for me. I am a big Dolphins fan so I never want to pick the over on the Patriots but…. They loaded up this offseason on both sides of the ball. Signing Kyle Van Noy, Matt Judon, and Davon Godchaux on the defensive side through free agency as well as Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith on the offensive side. Adding Mac Jones, Christian Barmore and Ronnie Perkins through the draft the Patriots are loading up for one last run at the playoffs with Mr. Bill. Take the over here for the Patriots last hoo-rah!

Miami Dolphins-(OVER 9) The Dolphins are fresh off a 10 win season and coming into their own as a team. The draft was solid by adding an electric Wideout in Jaylen Waddle as well as the draft’s top edge rusher in Jaelan Phillips. That’s not all they signed Will Fuller as well to fill out the receiving corps once he finishes 1 more game on his 6 game suspension. The Dolphins were missing a consistent pass rush last year and relied heavily on the DB’s but this year with a pass rush and a playbook designed around Tua I see them smelling blood and having an 11 win season and making the playoffs. Bang the over on the Dolphins and Coach Flo’s team building skills.

New York Jets-(UNDER 6.5) The Jets. The goddamn Jets. Look Mr. Wilson was the flashy pick and I hope they got it right for the fans sake but the Jets winning 7 games seriously? This just isn’t happening. New coach and a tough division with the Dolphins, Bills, and Patriots loading up that’s 6 tough divisional games alone. I like the draft the Jets had by bolstering the offense and getting an electric QB but it won’t lead to that many wins this season. Bet the under here and you can thank me later!

AFC SOUTH

Tennessee Titans-(UNDER 9.5) I see this as a down year for the Titans. They didn’t really make any splash moves this offseason, they lost Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith, and Adoree Jackson. This team just doesn’t seem like a 10 win team.Tannehill has been playing off the charts and I think he cools off this season and Titans go 8-8. Just not enough weapons and that defense has been getting progressively worse each year. Look for the titans to be middle of the pack and a 7 to 8 win team. I’m taking the under here.

Houston Texans-(UNDER 4) Well do we really have to talk about this dumpster fire? This team has no draft picks. No weapons. No defense. And wait now no QB? What do the Texans have going for them you might ask? Well they have given us one of the easiest under bets I have seen in awhile. This team sucks and is nowhere near a 4 win team. I fully expect a 2-14 season at best for them. Pound the under and thank me when the seasons are over.

Indianapolis Colts-(OVER 10) I love love love the Colts this year. Signing Wentz and bringing in LT Eric Fisher to protect him. I think this is A+ moves. Not to mention the Head Coach Frank Reich who believes in Wentz and will build the offense around his strengths. Wentz has a solid line, a great run game with Taylor and Hines to go with my favorite second year breakout in Michael Pittman Jr. All this to pair with a great defense and adding Kwity Paye through the draft was exceptional. The Colts are up there for best offseason acquisitions and I see it leading to a 12-4 season and the Eagles wondering why they gave Wentz up for nothing. Taking the over here and enjoying the show.

Jacksonville Jaguars-(UNDER 6.5) I am going to have to take the under here for the Jags. I truly love what this team is building and think in 2 or 3 years they will be a playoff contender. Let’s face facts here a new offense with a rookie Quarterback, I just don’t see them winning more than 6 games. 7 games is a lot to ask for a rookie QB and Head Coach to take over a 1-15 team and win 7 games, it just doesn’t happen too often. I really like the draft they had by grabbing two of the best DB’s coming out in Tyson Campbell and Andre Cisco. By bulking up the secondary and obviously Trevor Lawrence and company on offense will be a great boost to the team, they still have some holes on both sides of the ball which leads me to taking the under here. Pound the under on Trevor Lawrence and his luscious locks.

AFC WEST

Los Angeles Chargers-(OVER 9) The Chargers had the best draft out of anyone this year. They grabbed arguably the best tackle Rashawn Slater to protect franchise QB Justin Herbert and the second round was able to grab Asante Samuel Jr to bolster a pretty decent secondary. I look for Herbert to take another step forward and have a double digit win season. I am excited to see this young team under a new coach.

Denver Broncos-(UNDER 8.5) The Broncos need to figure it out. I have no idea why they didn’t take Justin FIelds with their first round pick!! I understand they think making the defense a top 5 unit might help their chances of making it to the playoffs but JUSTIN FREAKING FIELDS WAS SITTING THERE! I get it Ohio State QBs don’t have the best track record but make it look like you’re trying to build a teamhere by taking the best QB available. Javonte Williams was a great pick up but picture that offense with Fields, Williams, Jeudy and the forgotten about Courtland Sutton. Take the under because of terrible team management.

Kansas City Chiefs-(OVER 12)I was undecided on this one until the Chiefs made the trade for LT Orlando Brown. The Chiefsknow they have to protect the 500 million dollar man in Pat Mahomes and they did just that. Ifeel the Chiefs saw what happened in the Super Bowl and realized Mahomes needs more time to make things happen because even when he had no time he still made some incredible plays. Look for the playoffs to run through Arrowhead this season and the Chiefs might be a 14-2 team this season. Take the over and never bet against Patty Mahomes.

Las Vegas Raiders-(UNDER 7) The Raiders are just an average team to go along with an average coach. Gruden just doesn’t understand the new NFL. Carr has made strides but virtually no weapons outside Waller. The signing of Kenyan Drake just shows Jacobs is not the workhorse everyone thought he would be.Yes Ruggs is a speedster and going to have a few splash plays but I think this is Gruden’s last run here in Vegas. This is a 6-10 team at best. They almost lost to the damn Jets last season so Gruden definitely helped the team grow but it doesn’t lead to wins and gets canned at the end of season.

AFC NORTH

Cincinnati Bengals-(UNDER 6.5) Look, I love Burrow, and I love the weapons they have but Penei Sewell should’ve been the pick. Burrow missed those games due to being smashed week in and week out. You need an offensive line to utilize the weapons to the fullest potential which they do not have. They also have a division where the blitzes just keep coming. Give me another year and a few moreo-linemen until I’m buying in on these Bengals. Take the under and expect flashes of brilliance but not enough consistency for them to break 6 wins especially in a division that is loaded.

Cleveland Browns-(OVER 10.5) This was another tough one as the Ravens were also 10.5 game lines. I had to take one to go over the 10 mark and shockingly it was the Browns. The Browns have one of the most all around complete rosters on both sides of the ball. I know it shocked me as well. The drafting of JOK in the second round was an absolute steal. He is a nightmare LB’er who will go down as one of the greats. I also feel Baker has an all around great season to go along with the 1-2punch of Chubb and Hunt. I have the Browns going 12-4 this season and taking the division. Pound them over here.

Baltimore Ravens-(UNDER 10.5) The Ravens are an interesting team. I really like the draft pick in Bateman but do I trust Lamar to get him the ball? The short answer is no I don’t. Lamar is an unbelievable athlete and took the league by storm 2 seasons ago. Now the league has kind of figured him out. Loading the box forces him to make the tough throws which leads to some close games. I love the coaching staff and the way they play with toughness but Lamar didn’t show me enough to see them as more than a 10 win team, especially in a tough division. Taking the under here with a tough division.

Pittsburgh Steelers- (OVER 8.5) The last few years the Steelers have been floated around as washed up and on the downward trend. This team won 8 freaking games with a carousel at QB. Big Ben had a rough season towards the end but look for him to put together one more complete season and let’s not overlook the addition of Najee Harris a true 3 down back who I think has a good chance to winRookie of the Year with the way Tomlin utilizes his backs. I fully expect the steelers to have a 10 win season and push for the playoffs. Tomlin just knows how to gameplan and get the most out of his players. This one is an easy one, take the over and let Tomlin do the work.
