NFC Over/Under

NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles:(Over 6.5) It is no secret how bad the Eagles were last year. With a new coaching staff, and a great draft the eagles should have a decent season. This season will be all about Jalen Hurts. If Hurts is the player they thought he could be then the rebuild in Philadelphia is ahead of schedule. If their offensive line can stay healthy they can make some noise in this division.

Dallas Cowboys:(Under 9.5) Dallas fans will be rejoicing this season because Dak is back! Their offense was on fire last season, mainly due to their bad defense. Nearly all of their draft picks were to aid the defense, and while I loved the Dallas draft they’ll need time to come into their own. I see Dallas getting just under the 9.5 total.

New York Giants:(Under 7) Sorry Giants fans, you may have added a fantastic receiver, but with Daniel Jones behind center I dont see it happening this season. Saquon Barkley returning from injury should also help out a lot, but this team has a lot to figure out before it can compete. Their defense started playing well last season, but we’ll see how it holds up with the new additions on offense for a lot of the NFC East teams.

Washington Football Team:(Over 8) With all the bad defenses last year in the NFC East there was one outlier. Washington has built a great defense, and it only got better in the offseason. It is going to be difficult to move the ball against this team. Plus with the addition of Curtis Samuel on offense, I look for them to be able to put up good point totals. Bringing in Fitzpatrick puts a bandaid on the quarterback issue, but just how can they avoid the issue. Playing in the NFC East with this defense is already a good indication on the over.

NFC North

Chicago Bears:(Over 7.5) The Bears had quite possibly the best draft of the league. The team that has been needing a quarterback for so long has finally gotten a great one. This team is always one piece away and now it has it. Allen Robinson has played his whole career with average quarterbacks, and I think we’re all excited to see what he can do once Fields takes the reins. I think this team goes over 7.5 wins easy.

Minnesota Vikings:(Under 8.5) Minnesota’s defense struggled last year to stop teams. While they added some improvements on defense I just dont think its enough for the win total here. With the improvements to the other teams in their division I just don’t know if their high powered offense can make up for what their defense lacks. This team should hover around their win total, but I believe will fall a little short .

Detroit Lions:(Under 5) It is no secret here that the Lions need help at the wide receiver position, but taking Sewell was the smartest decision this franchise has done in a long time. Beefing up the offensive line is how you keep a winning team even with less than great talent. While the Lions don’t win much this season, I look for them to keep building up the line on both sides. The Lions are making the right way to rebuild rather than the pretty way.

Green Bay Packers:(–) DraftKings doesn’t have an over/under for the Packers for a reason. The Rodgers situation makes it entirely too tough to predict. While this is going on, I’d stay clear of the win totals for the Pack.

NFC West

San Francisco 49ers:(Under 10.5) This team will be good, don’t get me wrong they’re just playing in one of the toughest divisions. Their defense should be healthy this year, and their offense should be dynamite. Even if they sit Trey Lance behind Jimmy G, this team has the weapons to hurt defenses from a plethora of angles. This will be a very tough team, but I believe they’re still figuring out what they have. The 49ers should fall just short of their win total.

Arizona Cardinals:(Under 8) Talk about a team with tons of talent and not knowing what to do with it. The Cardinals were better than their record last year, but being in this division hinders their record for sure. Arizona had a good draft, but there are questions regarding the backfield which are completely warranted. James Connor needs to stay healthy because Chase Edmonds can not be their full time back. While I think they improve from last year talentwise, their record may not reflect that.

Los Angeles Rams:(Over 10.5) Matthew Stafford goes Hollywood, and it should pay off for him. I love their receiving core, and Cam Akers is really coming into his own. We all know how amazing that defense is, and even in this tough division I think the Rams will do great this season. It will rely heavily on what Stafford has in the tank, but this is easily the best team Stafford has had around him.

Seattle Seahawks:(Under 9.5) While I love this offense, at times they don’t seem to know what they have. In the second half of last season their offense slowed down and began to run the ball more. Their defense needs work too if they’re going to compete in this tough division. While I really like Seattle this year, I just don’t see them hitting double digit wins this year.

NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:(Over 11.5) The Bucs have one of the easiest schedules in the league, and returned virtually everyone from their super bowl winning roster. Not hard to see why they’re projected to win as much as they are. Tom Brady still hasn’t fallen off, and it doesn’t seem to be happening yet. They’re going to run this division.

New Orleans Saints:(Under 9) While the Saints have a great defense, they don’t seem to understand the holes they have on offense. While we don’t know who will be starting under center, I just dont see this team having enough pieces this year to put together another run this year. My belief is that Winston will be starting for this team at quarterback, but neither Winston nor Hill are the quarterback this team needs.

Carolina Panthers:(Over7.5) I think Sam Darnold shows what he’s made of. This offense is going to be electric, and they added one of the best cornerbacks in the draft to a struggling defense. The Panthers lost several games by one possession or less, and this season they’re looking to right that ship. Plus with CMC coming back from injury I love this team to their over!

Atlanta Falcons:(Under7.5) While I believe this team is headed in the right direction, I just don’t see it happening this year. Their defense needs a lot more help than It got in the offseason. Luckily their offense is so good they’ll be in a lot of games. I just don’t see Atlanta winning many games this year while trying to fit their new pieces with their existing ones.
