Welcome to the FAAB Life

FAAB SO HARD!

I make it FAAB on them hoes in every league I am the commissioner. I made the change from your standard waiver wire a few years ago and never looked back. It brings a level and fairer playing field for individuals in the league. It also brings a different strategic approach that lasts all season long.

In FAAB leagues (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) owners have a budget, typically $100 and you place a bid each week on individuals you want on your team. Your bid is a silent one and whomever has the highest bid is awarded the individual.

The strategic approach starts from week 1 and will last until the end of your championship. Every year a top tier RB will suffer a major injury earlier on. We all run to the wire in hopes of swooping up the next RB1 but unfortunately the team in last place who drafted shitty and knows nothing about football is assured the stud free agent which is utter bullshit.

Prioritizing your cheddar is not only strategic but brings a sense of responsibility to your squad. You don’t want to blow your load early on then come to week 10 with singles while homie is waving 20s. FAAB is straight up a good time and should 100% replace the standard waiver wire model. What do you think?
