Grand Central Gambling Future Bets!

Ooooooh baby the #DegenerateGang is back! While our guy DSparks will be heading up the gambling content this year I felt like bringing the out the old school degenerate picks to give the GCF fam early winners with our future picks for the 2021 season! Let’s do it boys!

All odds are taken from the Draft Kings Sports Book

Pick to Win the Super Bowl: Los Angeles Rams +1400

I know the Chiefs and the Buccaneers are the most popular picks right now to take it home, but to me, The Rams are a true contender to win it all. With the addition of Matthew Stafford and the continuation of that insane defense; LA has a serious chance of going all the way. The loss of Cam Akers is legitimate and that is why their odds rose from +1200 to +1400, but I am not shying away.

First off, the addition of Matthew Stafford is the key to this team taking it to the next level. The talented wide receiver core has been working with a subpar quarterback in Jared Goff for years now. Stafford will be able to take this offense to a much more consistent level and will get the Rams back to their Super Bowl contending ways. Couple that with the number 1 defense in the league again, I think the Rams have what it takes to fly under the radar and take the title. They will at least have a great shot at making the Super Bowl when the Buccaneers fail to do so. So at +650 to win the NFC they’re our pick as well!

I know a lot of you are big on the Buccaneers and while I think Bracdy and company have a solid shot, I just do not see them repeating as NFC champions. Frankly, everything went right for them last year. Tampa got every lucky break imaginable. From Green Bay’s terrible coaching, to all the injuries to the Kansas City line, Tom Brady had it made. The chances of that happening again this year are slim. And that is why I think The Rams sneak in and that defense takes down their opponent in the AFC.

Pick to Win the AFC Championship: Tennessee Titans +1300

Before you jump all over me, listen. I hear you. It is hard for me not to pick the Chiefs to go to their third straight superbowl, but honestly history is not on their side. On paper, sure, The Chiefs are the team to beat. Only three teams in NFL history have gone to the big game 3 straight times. Most recently the Patriots from 2016 to 2019. Here at GCF we try to be different. And a Titans-Rams Super Bowl is not only different, but it is the most lucrative for gamblers! While the Chiefs could do it, we really feel like this could be the Titans year. Henry is still in his prime, Tannehill is entering his third year with the team and is only getting better. Julio Jones brings his Hall of Fame resume to town and gives Tannehill a more established weapon. AJ Brown is ready to break out into elite WR1 territory. And by the way, the defense got a whole lot better.

With the addition of Bud Dupree at the edge position we see a defense that isn’t perfect by any means, but is definitely improved overall. Barring major injuries, the Tennessee Titans defensive line especially should be vastly improved. They are already turning heads in practice and if the secondary can hold on this team is lined up for a special run.

Pick to Win the NFL MVP: Dak Prescott +1400

Dak has been on one hell of a roller coaster ride over the past few years. From losing his brother to suicide, to suffering from depression himself, to fighting for his contract, setting the world on fire offensively in the first few weeks of 2020, to breaking his ankle in a gruesome injury, and finally getting the contract he deserves this off season. Yup, Dak really has been through it. Last season Dak Prescott made a believer out of me. Seeing what he was capable of in this Dallas offense with all the surrounding weapons and protection, I felt like Dak could do anything. Injuries of course ruined their season but this year Dallas is poised to make some noise in the NFC East.

I am not here to sell you Cowboy hype, but I am here to sell you Dak Prescott hype. The thing about Dak is, he has all the MVP tools. Big arm, great accuracy, high football IQ, and intangibles for days. This is the year he puts it all together and we can all cash in on it! The best part is the media has a boner the size of King Kong for Dak and the Cowboys. The second Dak gets hot the media will hype of his MVP buzz. at 14 to 1 I absolutely love these odds!

Pick to Win Defensive Player of The Year: TJ Watt +750

TJ has been coming close to the DPOY award for years now. There is not much to be said as he is in the top three when it comes to odds behind only Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald. I have a gut feeling Watt forces the voters hand this year. With 49.5 sacks already in his young career I think we see him hit 20 total sacks and finally take his spot at #1. Plus +750 are not bad odds for a guy who is basically a shoe in.

Pick to Win Offensive Rookie of the Year: Trevor Lawrence +300

While I wanted to put Jamar Chase here so bad at +1400, I think as long as Trevor Lawrence has solid numbers and leads the Jaguars to 5 total wins, the voters will vote him offensive R.O.Y. unanimously. The media just loves this guy too much. Still throw a few bucks down on Chase though!

Pick for Defensive Rookie of the Year: Patrick Surtain II +1400

Surtain was an absolute beast in Tuscaloosa and he will bring that Dog mentality to the Broncos. That is why they took with the 9th overall pick, because he has game changing talent. The cornerback is a ball hawk who was notorious for making great reads in college and anticipating the quarterbacks throws. At +1400 I think this is an absolute steal. He may not be one to reel in a lot of picks, but he is in the same vein as Darrell Revis. Opposing quarterbacks are going to learn not to throw at him. Period.

Pick for Comeback Player of the Year: Sam Darnold +1800

While Dak is the safest pick here at +350, we already picked him for MVP! and while he could win both, if you’re looking for some bang for your buck, I suggest throwing your money down on Sammy D baby! We all know what Darnold went through in New York, but now it is a new chapter. And even though we still have our doubts, it is clear that he is in a great position to succeed down in Carolina. Surrounded by talent and a great coaching staff, Darnold has no more excuses. Put up or shut up. And I think he puts up in a major way.

That it for the #DegenerateGang boys! Be sure to be on the lookout for DSparks and his team starting in the 2021 regular season as they give you their weekly picks and much more gambling content!
