QB Patrick Mahomes $6600
RB Alvin Kamara $6500
RB James White $5400
WR Michael Thomas $8200
WR Tyrell Hill $7700
WR Brandin Cooks $5300
TE Rob Gronkowski $4100
Flex Phillip Dorsett $3900
Def Rams $2300
For the likes of the upper tier players I won’t get into the logistics of why I chose them because it’s pretty self explanatory. Let’s start with our cheaper RB option.
James White put on a show tying the NFL record for receptions by a RB in a playoff game with 15. White was heavily leaned on by Superstar QB Brady. Brady has shown trust time and time again with his pass catching rb, especially when it matters the most. White had a phenomenal postseason last year and is on the start of another special run. There’s no reason to think otherwise considering he’s facing a team who is more known for there offensive play. Start White with confidence.
Brandon Cooks is a name we know far to well. Unfortunately his stats the 2nd half of the season did not match his reputation. He struggled against some of the tougher secondaries in the league. Luckily he faces a defense that is known for the exact opposite. That team is the Saints who have gave up the most 40 yard+ plays to receivers this year. Do you guys smell that? Smells like a revenge game to me. Huge upside for the speedster.
Rob Gronkowski is already a Hall of Fame player. Some may say he is the greatest tight end to ever play the game. Yeah he is a legend, but due to a downturn this year, he is getting shit on. No respect for this man! I love Gronk here this weekend. The Patriots are going to need a few doses of their vintage offense to get past the high-octane attack of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Everyone is counting the big man out. Yeah he is banged up. Yeah he’s a little older. But at the end of the day this is the same player with 79 career touchdowns. Look for Gronk to find the endzone at least once on Sunday. And look for your team to win some damn money.
Phillip Dorsett is our most intriguing pick by far this week. The former first-round pick was traded to the Patriots in a deal that sent Jacoby Brissett to the Colts. Dorsett was once a promising young Prospect that was projected to be the next Reggie Wayne in Indianapolis. It didn’t work out in Old Indiana, but your boy Bill Belichick has plugged Dorsett in to the spot where Josh Gordon played all season. If somebody is going to get a deep ball on Sunday, it’s going to be Dorsett. Plug the Young wide receiver in to your lineup and cross your fingers for a big play.
