Grand Central Gambling: MLB Season Over Under Picks

You guys smell that? It’s Opening Day Baseball baby. Just two short days away. As I sit here writing this, I am currently stuck in New York State. Where as of now you can not place any legal bets on any sort of sports. We can drive to Jersey, or fly to Vegas, or hit up our local bookies for a bet. I myself will take the last option.

For gamblers, baseball is tough. You hate betting on it on a game by game basis, but the long game of taking a bet on a teams win number can pay off BIG. Here are our favorite year long season total over unders for all you gamblers out there who need a hot tip before baseball season!

Colorado Rockies OVER 84.5 Wins:

The Rockies have been a team that has struggled to take it to the next level as of late. They are always either just sneaking into he playoffs just to lose first round or in the wild card playoff. This year however they extended their superstar third baseman Nolan Arenado and are showing signs of growing toward a true National League contender. The Rockies have been grooming young prospects like Kyle Freeland and David Dahl to be the new key pieces to this team. And if you follow MLB prospects, you have hear of the potential prowess of David Dahl. If this guy stays healthy he could be a top fifteen outfielder at the plate.

Coors Field is a magic place to play for hitters, but pitchers is another story. However the Colorado staff held it’s own last year. And Wade Davis will only look to get better in the ninth inning. I love Colorado to SMASH the over this year. Last year they won 90. This year I think they will win 92.

Kansas City Royals UNDER 69.5 Wins:

The Royals are an absolute shell of what they used to be back when they were winning AL pennants with their dominant defense and bullpen. Almost everyone you know from those teams are gone. Their bullpen is arguably the worst in the league. And their is more power in a broken lightbulb than there is in this lineup. Their team leader Salvador Perez is out all year as well.

Kansas City does have a few young guys who they hope will lead their resurgence, but it won’t be this year. Last year they won 58 games, and I do not see a reason why they would improve on that. Can you? Didn’t think so. Go under here.

LA Angels OVER 80 Wins:

The Angels have arguably been the most wasteful franchise of the last decade. Wasting $230 Million on Albert Pujols and wasting the early years of Mike Trout’s greatness. That being said, I love them to go over 80 wins this year and possibly make the playoffs in the AL West. They just locked Trout up for life, and on it’s face is an amazing accomplishment, but if you dig deeper and see how much positivity it will have on the season, it is enough to get the Angels to play incredibly motivated. Trout locking in now takes any doubt away from the team that he will leave them after next year. And psychologically that is a big deal.

They Angel lineup is honestly full of potential studs, including Ohtani when he gets back in May. The question, as always is the starting pitching and bullpen. Often injured but talented pitchers Matt Harvey, Andrew Heaney, Tyler Skaggs and Trevor Cahill are the ones who will take the mound and try to lead this team to their first AL west title in years. I like this rag tag group of
starters and the best player in baseball to back them up. Take my money and give me the God Damn Over!!

LETS MAKE SOME MONEY!!!!!
